Tony Patty was my sales guy who (when I met him) was sweet as pie. After I signed on the dotted lines; he was a DIFFERENT PERSON. One time, I actually had to ask him why he was being abrupt and mean during our conversation; when I asked him about the price of my already financed car. He clearly stated, "We DON'T GO BY KELLY BLUE BOOK!" Such was so! However, I do have a right to ask why the price of my car was jacked up 300%! Moving along: I had to replace my transmission about 5 months after having the car; of which they only give a 30 day warranty! Okay, I replaced the transmission and trying not to feel like I'd been had; especially b/c the interest rates are beyond belief; EXTREMELY INFLATED! They don't do a credit check, nor do they report your payments to the credit burea. Which is likely why they are able to treat credit disadvantaged people like crap! After paying my monthly payment on-time; they sold my car loan to Mariner Finance without any notice they were doing so. Mariner reports to credit bureau, so with my exceptional payment history - that was a win win! My credit score enabled me to qualify to purchase my home and a brand new car! Now financing 2 cars...the one from Belair Road Discount Auto and my second car from Acura; my 1st car was totaled a month ago. The car still had very low miles on it, so the insurance company is trying to pay off my car and I will walk away with some cash in my pocket. HOWEVER, BELAIR ROAD DISCOUNT AUTO (Tony Patty) is really pissing me off b/c they NEVER released the Lien and IS STILL LISTED ON MY TITLE AS THE 1ST LIEN HOLDER. Keep in mind, I have no dealings with them, and is/was paying Mariner Finance for the car. The insurance company and I spoke with Tony Patty who PROMISED to OVERNIGHT EXPRESS the Lien Release to the insurance company on Friday. Needless to say, today is WEDNESDAY (the following week) and the alleged EXPRESS MAILED Lien Release is no where to be found. Today, I have put in tons of calls to Tony Patty who refuses to return my calls! He claims he's done his "end of the deal". What??!! At this point, all I want is the TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE ALLEGED EXPRESS PACKAGE so that I can TRACK THE PACKAGE MYSELF! He won't call me back! Shady, Shiesty and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

People, without a Lien Release from Belair Road Discount Auto; the insurance company WILL NOT PAYOFF MY CAR TO MARINER FINANCE. I will still have to make payments on a TOTALED CAR UNTIL Tony Patty put his EGO AND GEL ASIDE! I'm absolutely LIVID that he is ducking and dodging; and more importantly NEGLECTED TO DO A FREAKIN LIEN RELEASE WHEN THEY VOLUNTARILY SOLD MY LOAN TO MARINER FINANCE! Had TONY done so a year ago; I wouldn't be writing this review!

In a "normal" and "perfect" world; my car would have been paid off within 2 weeks! Sooner, but not later! My now VERY GOOD CREDIT SCORE IS IN JEOPARDY b/c I've not paid my car payment for this month (b/c this should be history by now!). In 2 days, this coming Friday, my SECOND PAYOFF AMOUNT will expire! Keep in mind, today is Wednesday! Tony Patty doesn't care that I am losing money (having to make a payment on a totaled car), and the interest rate is accruing daily; thus the payoff amount increase. In turn, my cash from this car is being decreased! Tony is rude and abrupt...thus a CAR DEALER...so I guess I can't expect any more than that trait; Sweet as pie before the dotted line...Mean as s**t...once you sign the finance contract!

Please please please, get your credit in order so that you will NEVER EVER EVER HAVE TO WORK WITH AND/OR ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THESE SIDE DEALERSHIPS: HIGH INTEREST RATES, HORRIBLE SERVICE, AND F' U ATTITUDES! If you have a friend or family member that is going there...STOP THEM! Buy your car from another company that will at least release the lien when they voluntarily sell your financing to another lender! That's like the basics! If you can't tell...I'm pissed!
