Belisi attracts people by saying you can get 3 silk neck ties for $3 each. It's their "introductory offer."

Their entire web site is designed to fool consumers into thinking that is the end of their commitment. Only when you get your confirmation email (maybe not even then) will you realize that, buried deep within the legalese, you have agreed to buy an additional $100 worth of products.

When you try to cancel they do everything in their power to frustrate you. They claim that orders cannot be canceled within 72 hours, giving them plenty of time to ship you the first order. They then make it clear that if you don't follow through they will sick the big bad collection agency on you.

The skill in which they do it is actually almost admirable, if it wasn't so disgusting. Obviously this site is designed to prey on the gullible. They are affiliated with a string of other spammers/pyramid "marketers."

But there is more: If this was a legitimate business would they be so quick to sell your information? They are blatantly auctioning off their customer list here, check it out:

Clearly 26,000 people have already fallen for this hoax and now they have had all their information (address, credit, names) sold to who knows how many other scammers?

Avoid Belisi, tell your friends to avoid Belisi, encourage your governmental representatives to put these scammers out of business- especially if you live in Florida.

Belisi thinks it is insulated; it thinks it's doing nothing wrong tricking people into shelling out ten times what they agreed to pay. Belisi is wrong.

Belisi's "customer service" will no doubt try to rebut this, but notice how quick they are to settle if you really make noise? They're scared of the attention. They know they're bogus, and they know it's only a matter of time before it catches up with them.

Bottom line: watch out. Don't trust anybody, it's sad but true.
