Belisi ties were advertied on a freebies site for $1.00 each and the offer was for three ties so it turned into 3 ties. When I got to the site I was able to pick out 3 ties of my choosing of a series they alloted for choosing.
I got the ties and a bill for $15.95 for shipping and handling. That upset me, but I paid it. Then a week later I get an email from them telling me my credit card denied them the $89.00 fee. I'm like "What $89.00 fee?" I said to myself. There was a phone number in the email. I dialed the number
A woman answered and she explained that I have to pay this $89.00 "membership" fee or I have to return the ties. I told her that none of this was advertised in the information on the original "freebie site". She said "But it is in our terms and agreements. Did you read those?" All this should've been made plain up-front. I already gave the ties to someone as a Christmas present.
Now I have to pay a grand total of $104.95 for 3 ties that were advertised as "Three ties for $3.00"

I recently ran across Belisi advertising the "three silk ties for $5" or whatever it was...I was stupid and did not read the terms of agreement, and subsequently a charge for $89.00 showed up on my credit card. I immediately phoned the 800 number Belisi had listed and told them the situation...the lady on the phone was extremely courteous, and immediately credited the charge back to my card no questions asked...EVEN THOUGH I was one day past the 14-day deadline to cancel the "subscription" that I had inadvertently signed up for. Again, they were very couteous and accomodating even though "technically" I was in the wrong...yes they could have stated the "subscription" part more clearly on their website but it was still my fault for not reading the "fine print".
The bottom line is that Belisi fixed it immediately when I phoned them, which was less than an hour ago today, it's hard to find customer service like that these days. I commend Belisi for how they treated me and dealt with my situation...and yes I would spend my money with them again, if nothing else simply for the customer service I received, not to mention the silk ties are very nice.
