I bought a new car from Bell Road Toyota in Dec of 2016 to give to my granddaughter.

I filled out a form to have it titled in Washington State.  I paid $500 for document fees.

After the 90 day plate expired I found that I had never received the license plates.  I tried to license it in Washington at my local DMV, but was told that I needed a Manufacturers Certificate of Origin.  While talking to the dealer over the phone, and later Toyota finance company I found that they refused to send me a certificate because they had titled it in Arizona.  I now have to have Washington DMV request a title transfer from Arizona to Washington at my expense, and my granddaughter can not drive the vehicle for another 60 days until the title is transfered.   All these new fees, and time and trouble for me and my grandaughter, will not be repaid in any way by the dealer.    They refuse to help in any way, or even to send another 90 day temporary tag to use until I have the title transfer straightened out.

The dealer did send me a copy of the document I had signed requesting Washington title registration.   They knew they had screwed up, but decided that since they already made the sale, they would gain nothing by trying to keep an out-of-state buyer happy.

I consider this to be fraud after paying a large documentation fee for nothing.

The $500 documentation fee that Bell Road Toyota charges is truly a Rip-Off, and they are the least heplful company of any that I have ever dealt with.
