David at (memorial city mall) stopped me by offering me a coupon, then as I got close to the kiosk he wiped my makeup off my face WITHOUT my consent. I was in shock, I asked him to reapply makeup (which was his objective in the first place). He kept talking about my body, and sex; making suggestive, very inappropriate comments which I told him I disliked. He said that he is a man and its natural, I just wanted to get my makeup reapplied and leave as soon as possible. He applied the makeup, I told him that I was not in the need for makeup at the time and he got an attitude saying he spent his time applying makeup and would have to charge me for application. I said that he didn't disclose that prior to taking my makeup off with out my consent; I ended up agreeing to pay for my makeup application. I hand him my card and next thing I know he hands me a bag filled with makeup and tells me its $230+ tax. I stated that I don't need makeup, especially makeup that expensive. He offers to lower the price to $140 and takes the bag from me removing some items.. He then hands me the items he removed & tells me to put the items in my purse, saying they are his gift to me; David says he really wants me to have them & will no longer charge me for the makeup application. I object, I don't want to steal the makeup… and I don't want to buy this makeup. I say I just want my card back and to leave and he then presents me with the credit card slip to sign for the application, and the total is $140!  I tell him thats an unreasonable makeup application fee & he says he waived that and only charged me for the makeup. I am getting more and more frustrated I tell him I am not comfortable with paying so much money for makeup. David says If I don't love it I can contact him and return it; he says he's the manager & hands me a business card with what looked like a direct line. Which made me feel at ease, anyone would feel comfortable purchasing an item if a manager gives you their word , saying you can return or exchange an item. I grabbed the card and left.

I applied the makeup and later that day noticed my face was a different color then my body, realizing he must have put the incorrect item in my bag. Then I also wasn't loving the fact that the makeup made my face oily and kept rubbing off on everything, definitely not waterproof or "sex proof" as he kept putting it. I called the # on the card he gave me and no one by the name of David was there, it wasn't even a business. I contacted the kiosk, they said David was not there; I told them I wanted to return or exchange my items and they said NO returns or refunds. I stated that the manager told me I could and they said David is not the manager & there is a strict no returns policy. The girl was very rude, I asked for a managers # & she placed me on hold and never got on the line again. I called back and no answer for the remainder of that day; the following day I got a hold of a man who first said his name was David then when I told him who I was and what I wanted he said his name was Dvir not David and that David no longer worked there. I started to call the other kiosk, hoping to get a hold of a manager; and after calling several times a day for 3-4 days I NEVER got a hold of anyone.

I am very dissatisfied with the level of customer service, and the matter in which I was pressured to purchase these products. I am not happy with the quality of the products and have filed complaints with my CC provider, The BBB, Memorial city mall guest services and Bella Terra directly (corporate email).

Dvir in Houston

Dvir has also done the same to me. It is not Bella Terra Cosmetics fault. These kiosks are not supposed to be selling the makeup at any different price than what is online. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNT5Osb7eBU&feature=youtube_gdata_player or google bella terra reviews and there is a news report covering this problem. It explains how bella terra is trying to do damage control on everything these kiosks are doing. My only advice to bella terra is that you need to rethink who you give authorization to sell your product. Also Dvir had just as many sexual comments to me too. I asked a few more questions. He's from Israel and has been here for 3 years supposedly. He acted like he just got out of a long term relationship and is looking to date again. Well I got his personal cell number in the process. It is(((REDACTED))) Call him and bother him about your refund. If he is going to do that to us, then he should expect that in return. Sexual manipulation works both ways. He's a complete jerk and doesn't care who he has to swindle or how to get money.
