Jeff Bellamar (born Jeff Lorenzo Amar) is still in hiding. A group I am working located his father, Gary Amar, to ask for assistance in encouraging Jeff to do the right thing before we locate him. This was fruitless, as Jeff is the black sheep of the family (how surprising is that?) and hasn't had a real job in roughly 10 plus years and doesn’t keep in touch with his own parents much anymore. I took this to mean he has shunned his own family to avoid the embarrassment of his practices of scamming people then living off of them with no concern for his heinous acts. Here are the facts that might help you spot Jeff Bellamar in either Florida or West Hollywood:

  • He is a Vegan.

  • He walks his dogs and visits the pet stores in the West Hollywood area often.

  • He rides a black Harley.

  • He may still drive a white 2001 BMW 740.

  • He has no conscience and will steal at will then try to justify it.

  • He has nothing in his legal name to avoid being found.

  • He rents condos and apartments only.

  • He has been sued many times and still process servers looking for a good address.

  • He will pack up and run in a heartbeat.

  • He was 48 at the time of this post.

  • He has many different aliases.

  • He has a long history of fraud and scamming good people in both real estate (mortgage) and film funding schemes.

  • He partnered with Benjamin “Ben” Paul Morris (African-American, Culver City, CA) and his Caucasian wife, Robin (The Film Matrixx Movie Works, LLC) in 2013.

Until recently, Ben and Jeff collected upfront fees ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 with a pretty convincing story that they will underwrite funding for independent and studio projects within 30 – 45 days. All the while they simply split the upfront fees collected from unsuspecting victims, never produce anything other than issuing months of woulda’, coulda’, shoulda’s at your expense. In addition, these two continue to ignore multiple requests for refunds made via email and by phone (text because they will not answer the phone) and avoid all communication as criminals often do.

Thanks to fact-based posts on this site and others, people are becoming aware of how these two operate and avoiding doing business with them.

Please look closely at the photos of these two con men and help us locate them so they might face justice and whatever else they might justifiably have coming! Do not become another victim of their scams!!!

FYI: In addition to a publicist, we are working with an investigative reporter to piece together this story for the media.
