I brought a Vacation Travel Club membership from Belle Travel in Nov. 08. I was given a free Hawaiian trip with airfair but when I got home I found out it doesn't have the airfair as promised. There are fees to use it. I was suppose to also receive 2 free extra round trip airfair (have to paid $100 to use it), $100 gas card (have to buy $100 in gas first, in 1 month at a pre-selected station plus $5) & 1 week car rental, did not get car rental. I had to call & e-mail 3 times to get them. They all have fees to use them.
I never received the membership for Vacation Travel Club. I tried to cancel because they are in breach of contract (7 to 10 days). I didn't try to cancel within the 3 day as on contract. Belle Travel ripped me off. They said since I activated the Hawaiian Trip I have to paid for the membership, but what membership, I did not get one. I was told the trip was free & I was able to cancel it. Did not use it.
I have been in a dispute with my credit card company since 12/1/08. I have also reported them to the Better Business Bureau that is still going. Beware of Belle Travel & their owners Jerold & Pat Evanson. Beware of their sales Rep Billy (BillyJoe) Wannyn They will take your money & run.

Belle Travel in Sandy, Ut. Refunded Money

It was a long battle with my credit card company dispute & Better Business Bureau but after 2 1/2 months Belle Travel finally refunded my money in full. They were unable to prove that my membership to Vacation Travel Club was ever shipped to me.

This is in response to Dee and her request for a refund. Dee has received her refund. When dealing with Dee, her credit card company originally decided that she did not deserve a refund. However, our company decided it was in hers and our best interest to give her a refund due to some unfortunate circumstances involving her membership papers. The papers were never sent into the company and were temporarily lost at the home office. Due to these circumstances, Dee has chosen to request her money back and it has been refunded. The incentives she received were given to her. We buy them from the the travel companies at a substantial price to us and then they require fees to be paid. Again, Dee has chosen not to use the incentives. The incentives do require feees, but individuals are able to travel with the incentives. This is another that has been resolved. Pat
