Bellingham Finders Keepers Rodger Alexander and Adam Scholtz lied, cheated, defrauded, scam bellingham Washington

 Bellingham finders keepers is run by 2 lying cheating theives. The owners Adam Scholtz and Rodger Alexander hired me last march. We made an aggreement that I would be paid $300 a week base salary plus 20 percent of all sales. I worked 6 days a week 70 plus hours a week. I went almost 2 months without being paid a dime. They told me to keep track of what Im owed and I would be paid next week, well next week would come and they would say the same thing. I foolishly trusted them, and I really wanted this business to work as I had a 20 percent stake in sales.

At almost 2 months we had a big convention we were a vendor at called NerdWest in bellingham washington I was told the friday before that the next monday I would be paid up to date because of all the business from the store and the convention. I worked the store while Adam and Rodger worked the convention. Sunday night when we closed Rodger said I would be paid the next day. I come into work monday 8 am and Rodger was there and he said business was not going well for them and they couldnt keep me employed. I was devistated.

I loved this job and put everything I had into it. Rodger felt bad and said it was Adams decision and he fought for me but lost. I asked for the money I was owed he told me to come back at 4pm when Adam got there. he gave me a hug and appologized. I came back at 4 and as soon as I walked in Adam walked into the back room. I asked Rodger if he could get Adam for me he went and told Adam I was out there to get my check. Adam made me wait for 30 minutes and came out and said "Im not paying you, I dont have the money and I wont" we argued back and forth for 45 minutes where they tried to come up with every reason they could think of to try and justify ripping off a single father of 2 young children.

He knew he was wrong and he offered me an Iphone 4 to appease me. I left and I immediatly filed an unpaid wages claim with L&I they appealed it for almost 9 months and lied to them first claiming I never even worked for them, when I provided proof that I was an employee they then said I was an Independent contractor and worked for store credit. The L&I case worker told me that she had not come accross such scum bag liars in her 20 years with L&I. Labor and Industries investigated for 9 months and ruled in my favor. I won but I still have yet to receive a dime. these guys make their living off ripping off people who bring in things they dont really know what they have.

They are worse than a pawn shop. Rodger would constantly steal from his business partner by not register larger cash sales in the computer and pocket the money. when I was let go of there I had a bunch of my personal items there for sale on consignment. they would not let me retrieve those items because they sold it. These 2 men are terrible people who threatened me throughout the last 9 months while this case was investigated. They would knowingly buy and sell stolen items, They would buy gift cards that were from stolen items returned to places like target,walmart,kohls and fred meyers for store credit. All the criminals know where to take there stolen stuff to get quick cash. They have homeless people and drug addicts constantly hang out in store.
