Bellwood Finacial Group - Howard Marshall - Phillip Morgan Scam Fraud!! Got me for 1400 dollars!! Ft. Lauderdale Florida

My fiance was searching online for a good offer on a personal loan. A couple days after he was searching he received a phone call from Phillip Marshall with the bellwood financial group.

The offer seemed reasonable so we started to peruse it. They offered him a 10,000 loan with only 6% interest. They did a credit check and told him that he would have to come up with a collateral payment of 1400 dollars to peruse the loan. Being that this was the first time that he has ever looked into a loan we didn't think much of it when they said that we needed to put money down.

They told him that he needed to send them the money using money gram at walmart. I thought it sounded a little strange so I spoke with him myself and he assured me that everything it legit. They had him send it to a lady named Laura Davies in Canada. He said to call him with the reference number after the money has been sent and to expect the money in the bank account no later that 5 o'clock the next evening.

The next morning he received a phone call from the head manager Howard Marshall, of the "company" saying that the lenders did another credit check and they would need an additional 1400 for the loan to go through.

We eventually did a google search and found other peoples reports basically stating the same thing.
We kept trying to call and all we got was a message saying goodbye.

We made reports to as many associations as we can to try to get our money back. We are trying to pay for a wedding that's why we needed a loan and now we just got screwed out of 1400 dollars!!

I hope this report helps some people from not making the same mistake as we did.
