Beltman Group, north American Vanlines backed out on relocation move 5 days before move, i was repeat customer Ripoff Atlanta Georgia

in nov 2005 i had hired the beltman group\north american vanlines. to relocate me for a job transfer. i went to this company beacause they had just moved me the year earlier and billed my compnay for the move. i called kathy brewer who was the same person i had worked with before. they gave me an estimate, i forwarded it to my company for billing. i still work for the same company as last time they moved me. kathy brewer said all was good. they were scheduled to pick on 12/27/2005.

i had made all the arrangements in confidance that the same company will move me as before. i purchased plane tickets, made arrangements for housing, enrolled my son in school.

here comes the good part. on dec 22nd 2005 beltman group calls me a nd tells that they cannot bill my company as they had done before. my reply was, "ok i will put it on a credit card".

they said ok. on dec 23rd at 5:00 pm they called me and siad they would not take a credit card. at this point i am out of town for christmas until the 26th. i phone the customer service departments of both beltman and north american vanlines and was told that they do accept credit cards.

needless to say i had three days to find another moving company to which i gladly paid by certified check. i sent a complaint to north american vanlines and still have never received a phone call. each compnay ended up blaming each other for the problem. beltman, north american vanlines and kathy brewer are not people that anyone should do business with.

this ended up costing me and my company $3000 more to get it done on time. some customer service huh!! they will be receiving weekly letters from my secratary for the next year.
