Ben Glinsky Real Estate Deal Dallas Texas

I came across the Ripoff Report on Ben Glinsky, I had a dealing with him a few years back. I really don't know anything about his online ventures but he was doing real estate deals at the time.

He basically would take over the mortgage from a distressed individual and would put another party in place to pay the mortgage payment also called "subject to" and they would buy the right to own the property. The deal would have a contract but as far as the Bank went they knew nothing.

I will say this much about Ben Glinsky he did explain everything really well and spent time informing me how it worked.

So then a property came along, it was in Indiana. For 5000.00 I could buy the home subject to. I sent a down of 2400.00 to Ben via Fed Ex and he was preparing the doc's for me to sign. I called a company in Indiana to go inspect the property and they would be managing it for me as well. I had used them before and they were reputiable. They called me and said they found major black mold in the home, they even sent pic's of the ceilings that were covered with it.

At this point I called Ben and said the deal was off, he said he was sorry for that but the funds I had paid were non refundable.

I never did sign the paperwork he had sent and never took the keys or the deed, I still just don't see how it was non refundable. I could see a fee for the trouble of having to send me back my check but 2400.00 dollars isn't resonable at all.

He was out of state and I had a Lawyer contact him but the Lawyer said he was hard to track down and I would probably wind up spending more trying to get back the money I lost than it was worth.

I don't know if any others had these results but it's no way to do business. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
