Rec'd acct pay off amt of $3779., in Jly 06, it was paid in Aug 06.

On Dec 30, 08, I rec'd a call from the collection dept requesting a payment of $331.76, this was the first contact from the company since 2006.

Their explaination was that the pay off was not the total owed, interest has accrued since 2006 and if I would pay $179.94 this would close the acct. There was no explaination of why there was no billing sent to me in the past two years.
