In April 2010, I purchased a Benron Equipment & Supply Inc - RotorTex 19-225 Texture Spray System as a distributor. This was to be re-sold to one of my customers.
As soon as we received the spray system we started testing the unit on an existing project following the enclosed instruction. We could not get the unit to work. called Ron Z. at Benron Mfg - he told us that we had to use a priming solution to use this type of material (not in the instructions) So we located a local supplier of priming material - the next day, using the priming material, we tried again. I recently bought one of Benrons units i Followed Ron. Z Intructions line by line .i hope we can settle this in a just manner give me my money back. By next week depending on situation i will post my New RIPOFF report.

The costumer had called and questioned us about the spray equipment. The companys representative, Ron, had talked to him and had explained to him about the machine. Ron also explained to the costumer that any special order returns will be charged 15% restocking fee and he had agreed, and he had also signed on a credit-card sale.
Ron had asked him to send a sample of the material that they are planning to use. We always ask costumers to send us a sample of material. The customer had said that there was no need. He had seen a video of our machine spraying a competitive product (elite product) on our website.
The costumer wanted to be a distributer. He said that he has a costumer that is interested in the machine. The costumer had sent a purchase order. The purchase order had listed additional items besides the sprayer.
We always instruct the costumers with the steps they need to follow before using the equipment. The instructions are also stated step-by-step on our website, and he failed to follow these.
Our representative, Ron, gave him a way to contact him for any questions/concerns. Ron had received a call from the customer over the weekend, and he helped him. The costumer had stated that the machine was working perfectly for 20 minutes, and when he came to refill the machine with a new batch of material, the hose got clogged and the material dried within the hose. The material has specific steps that have to be done before use in the machine for it to work properly. Our prediction is that the costumer did not follow these steps correctly.
Ron had offered to come see him at his home town and train him in using the machine properly. The costumer had asked him to come within the next 24 hours, but we needed at least a week to arrange this trip. Ron could not contact him during the week, only on weekends, because he did not answer his telephone. The costumer had indicated in his letter that he gave us a window of 7 days, and this is a completely false statement. The customer also indicated in his letter that he asked us to send him Slick-Tex to help the material flow. We had sent this compound over night, and he stated that he received it after 4 days. This is also a false statement. (Proof of UPS next-day shipment attached)
We are very sorry that the customer was unhappy with our equipment.
We had received the machine in bad condition. The entire machine was dirty and the hose plugged, which was another indication of him not using the machine properly.
We are willing to give the costumer credit, but not for the amount the costumer had claimed.
The case has been solved and the customer received his credit. The credit amount was the amount which the company had agreed on.
