I ordered a 30 "free sample" of Avlimil from this company. They asked for a credit card for shipping charges. The next month, I received an unauthorized shipment of Avlimil in the mail and $70.00 was deducted from my checking account using my debit card number. I called Customer Care and spoke with "Alicia" a very rude person. She informed me that the only way I could get a refund was to submit a dr's statement. This is fraudulent business practices. They trick you into giving your info for shipping and handling, then use your acct. number to deduct money for unauthorized purchases.

I got my money back, didn't I? You failed to mention the hell and hassle customers have to go through to get this done. After talking with stupid customer reps who have been brainwashed, I was finally told if I submitted a dr's statement, I could get a refund. The clincher is that the customer isn't told this right away. You have to argue with the reps and threaten to expose this rip off company by filing complaints everywhere you can. I hope that everyone who has been ripped off will submit a dr's statement and get their money back. Too bad that you are under the company's spell. Take a look at this website and other complaint websites. If your company was so honest and would do anything to keep your customers, this company wouldn't have hundreds of complaints against them. Grow up and get a "real" job.

We told you if you fax in a Dr. statment we would refund you.....and we did... and when we moved yes we where a little behind so as the lovely customer care rep stated you would get your refund....The thing that gets me about you people is we do everything we can to inform you people about Managed Care..We put the info in the brochure, on the product and even tell you on the phone....and as for the people that order off the websites....the info about Managed Care is on the site 6 and yes I said 6 different times....

After talking to the CS rep, (??) she told me they had just moved and they were behind on looking at their faxes. I then asked to speak with a supervisor. I was put on hold forever, and the same CS Rep got back on the line and stated a supervisor was not available. I told her I expected my money within two weeks. I also told her that I had filed complaints everywhere I could find to complain and so had hundreds of others. About a week and a half later, I checked my account online, and lo and behold, their it was! $70.00 credited to my account by Berkeley Nutraceuticals. My advice is stay on them,don't let them forget you were ripped off. Do whatever you have to do to show them they ARE going to give you your money back!
