Bernard Haldane Associates Rip off Waste of time to even meet with them Overland Park Kansas

I am currently employeed, but I'm interested in changing careers. I emailed my information to my Bernard Haldane office and didn't receive any type of response for several weeks. Finally, I was called for an "interview," but was only given two time slots (both within a 48 hour period). And, as I'm employed they made it difficult for me to even meet with them...this should have been my first clue.

However, I met with a senior level executive, and was told that they didn't take everyone and led me to believe (during the first interview) that didn't take everyone and that they were exclusive. So I did their myers briggs peronality test (which by the way was read incorrectly...as I just completed a myers briggs survey which was analyzed by the myers briggs people), and they told me that they wanted to meet with me again.

During this first interview I mentioned several times that I wanted to know their fee before I continued. And I was told it was reasonable. So being the sucker I am, I did the "homework" and came back for the second interview. It was a complete waste of my time. They didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know, or that I couldn't have learned reading a few books. And some of what I was told was directly opposite to what I have heard other job experts say (the big one was that companies liked for you to negotiate agressively even if you are happy with the offer). Basically, I spent an hour while I was talked at about my weaknesses and how they would give me the tools to fix them.

Eventually, at the end of the second interview they wanted me to make a decision without even seeing the price of their services. It was until I mentioned several times that I wouldn't continue until I knew the price. They wanted to charge me $4000! 4K so that they could tell me that I needed to be committed and do what I was told and meet with my counselor every two weeks.

The entire process is a waste of time. I encourage everyone to ignore their ads. All of the information that they offer, you can get for free from other sources.
