Berry Hill Home Consignment Kara - owner Took my furniture in to sell - then gave it away without ever contacting me. No contract ever signed authorizing my permission to give it away. Chicago, Illinois

Gave thousands of dollars in great furniture to this consignment shop.  Owner Kara was very happy to get it all.  She never corresponded with me.  Only a couple of things sold that I was paid for.  Sent several emails to the owner Kara - rarely a reply back.  One day she decided without notice to give my furniture away. No contract was signed authorizing her to be able do so.  Absolutely no notification via email or phone giving me 24 hours to be able to get it from the store.  She does not know where it was donated to because her driver moved to Florida.  She will not respond to an emails. Some of the furniture and home accessories were new that she claims to have now given away.  Think twice about doing business with this store!
