Bertera Nissan is a horrible place to do business. DO NOT even waste your time driving there. They lie about the price, on the internet. They lie about the price when you get them on the phone, then they lie to you more when you arrive and even try to trick you into signing paperwork that says you'll pay more!
I went there to buy a used 2006 Nissan Altima that I saw on their website. Shame on me for not reading the fine print - more on that later. They had by far the best price anywhere and it wasn't until later that I realized the price was a LIE! I called them on the phone and asked to speak to a sales manager. I asked quite clearly if the price that was listed was all I had to pay and he responded by saying, "Of course! We don't advertise a great price only to change it when you get here! The price in the ad is the price you will pay!" But that is EXACTLY what they did!
When I arrived I wanted to see the car and my husband and I drove it and loved the car. It was exactly what we were looking for. They drew up the paperwork and we went to meet with the finance manager. But upon closer inspection of all the many things we had to sign was a document stating that we had to pay $2,500 for acquiring the vehicle! Well you can imagine our amazement that they would pull a trick like that. What is worse is they just tried to get us to sign it without explaining what it was for. There were so many things to sign and they just tried to slide it in toward the end with a "yup and sign this one here and here" like it wasn't important. They explained that they never lied to us. That it was clearly spelled out (in fine print) in their ad online that the price includes $2,500 cash or trade. We got up and left and demanded our deposit back and they said we would have to take them to court! That we wasted THEIR time and the salesman's time and he doesn't get paid to waste time taking people for test drives in cars they have no intention of buying! I really couldn't believe what was happening. We threatened to call the police and they just laughed. It was such a degrading experience. I can't begin to explain how upset this experience has made us. I only hope that someone will read this and save themselves the pain and aggravation of dealing with the horrible people at Bertera Nissan.
I hope someone investigates Bertera Nissan and their dirty practices. I can't believe what they've done is legal. Its not right that they can just take your money for no reason. It's awful. $1,000 and we can't get it back and even if we took them to court it would cost more to hire an attorney. I hate you Bertera Nissan! I hope you get yours! If you go to berteranissan.com you will see for yourself.

This was written by an ex employee, that I fired. He is slightly pissed at the fact that he had to look for other employment but I have spoken to him and he does feel sorry about this.
