I had been using an older model Hix Swingman for over 13 years. This was an upgrade to a new model since the other one was starting to wear down. This one sent cannot be swung to the right, sometimes it takes two hands and all my might to get it to swing away from the lower platen.

This happens no matter how high or low the height setting is on the press. The second issue is just that. Setting the height on the press. The knob that you turn to adjust the height is almost impossible to adjust. You would almost need a tool or wrench to move it instead of being able to hand turn it as it was meant to be done.

Also there is a loud squeaking noise whenever the press upper platen is attempted to swing right away from the lower platen to remove whatever it is you are attempting to press.

These are defects/damages and never did I have these issues with the old Hix Swingman 15x15 that I owned for over 13 years. At times it is unusable because you cannot swing that top plate away from what you are pressing. It actually hurt my neck and lower back trying to get it to swing away from the shirt I was pressing in order to not have a fire hazard. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

BestBlanks called me liar and stated that this could "never happen"  thank God I bought through Amazon.com from them to have the backing of Amazon. Bestblanks went back and forth with me belittling me and making false claims. I have signed swaorn affidavits as to the damage/defects the press had as well as my injury sustained by it.

They continued to harrass me by both phone and email. Each time becoming more arrogant and ignornat in their tone and in slandering my namesake.

No one there cared one bit what was going on. All I was looking for was a non-defective machine and nothing more. This was Christmas time and I certainly did not or could not be without a proper working machine but Bestblanks could have cared less and dragged their feet saying "we'll be in touch".

They were very angry when i contacted Amazon for help and that is when I saw the true side of this company. They hide behind themselves but once called out on an issue they do not like it. If the item was working properly who would want a replacement? I was not looking for any monies back but they stated that I just had buyers remosrse and there was nothing wrong with the unit. Only more lies from thier mouths.

BESTBLANKS STOP with the lies already

You keep you oprinion. I know the facts. We here know what happened. I will be happy to post the bill of injury when it comes in the mail. I did stop using the press once this hapened so you have no idea what you are speaking of.

Again, someone who is looking for something or has "buyers remorse" as you called it does not ask for a simple replacement. I'm glad that if that is in fact the same machine that you were able to FIX what ever was wrong with it and then put up a bogus video. I have the affidavits of injury and functionality of the press or lack there of as it WAS defective.

I have learned a valuable lesson from BESTBLANKS who will stop AT NOTHING to continue to rebutt anything anyone says that is not in their favor. There was no help as they claim on a "we'll be in touch" response. I looked for nothing extra, I asked for nothing extra, just wanted a presss that worked correctly. Did not even ask for a refund.

Anyone who reads this can certainly read into the truth. A person DOES NOT return a perfectly good machine at the HEIGHT of the Christmas season to lose all their business, It is when 80% + of my sales occur, then only ask for a working replacement. NOT a refund but a replacement . Amazon.com also asked that the seller send just a replacement but BESTBLANKS chose to lead me to beleive I could and would be able to get or order a new press once the defective one was returned only to play games, refund my money which I did not ask for and then tell me they no longer wanted to have any dealings with me. That is fine. I see now how this company works and now the people that read the truth about BestBlanks can form their own opinion. I have the chats from Amazon, I have the emails from Amazon, The company was rude, misleading and lied and without the help of Amazon would never have had this resolved directly through them.

To clear up another lie.. of course the machine was used Bestblanks... how would I know it was defective it I did not try to use it?? So more holes in your story. As far as the "ink" on the platen goes.. again MORE lies, being in the business for as many years as i have stated both upper and lower platens are always covered with Teflon from the moment I get them. They are NEVER used without them. If ink were on a platen it would have transfered to the next project that I worked on so please stop with the lies. There was no ink on anything and you know that.

Again. a simple replacement as requested by myself and Amazon.com would have ended this entire ordeal however you seem to like to drag your customers through the mud. Again, anyone who reads this will know that no one returns and item at the height of the holiday season and lose all profits that help them survive the year, asking for a replacement if there was not actually something wrong with it.

I ended up with multiple Epidural Steroid Injections in my lower back because of the pressure of having to move the upper platen away from the lower in order not to have a fire. 

Thanks for NOT standing behind your products or your customers and showing your true colors.

Unlike others as well I did not file this annonymously. I have no problem stating who I am and what you did.

Please see the video and picture of the actual heat press that was returned. We have no desire to fight this out in the court of public opinion. However, we must defend our reputation when being accused of such outlandish behavior. You will see from the video the press has full range of motion on the swing-away platen and the adjustment knob also turns as it should. The press is and was in-fact operating properly when we received it from the customer. We have no idea why this customer insists that the press had all those problems that they mentioned. We are truly baffled by this situation. We did notice there was ink residue on the bottom of the heating platen so clearly the press was used while in their possession.



We tried to offer technical phone support when we were first contacted. However, the customer was unwilling to cooperate, then they refused to allow us to receive the press back for evaluation. We were very willing to replace the press if it was defective or issue a full refund, whichever they wanted. Instead they insisted on us shipping yet another press to them prior to the return of the first press. This was not acceptable to us. So Amazon forced the customer to return the press to us. After inspection of the press we found it functioning correctly so we immediately issued a full refund and notified the customer of the refund. That should have closed out the issue. Instead this person continues to make claims that the press caused injuries, etc. If the press was so hard to operate (as they have said) then they should have stopped using it immediately. This is a simple manual type press and if it was hard to open or swing-out they should have not used it, no-one is forcing them to use it.

In summary, we acted quickly, issued a full refund immediately, and did so all in good faith, and we have all documentation (if need be) to prove it. We are very sorry we were not able to satisfy this customer.  We look forward to focusing on more fruitful activities going foward.

LIES,LIES and MORE LIES BEST BLANKS

I have affidavits from 3rd parties that the machine did not work, I have doctors reports and procedure reports from the innjury caused by this machine. What is it? Eveytime that a customer has something to say they are the liars? Can't always be that way Best Blanks... sorry. As you attested, I bought oneof my first presses from you 13 years ago. Was there a complaint ever then??? No there was none. I amnot one to run around and make up things. AGAIN I HAD NO REASON TO.. it was Christmas time, It was defective, I had to return it and lost a lot of business at the busiest time of the year.

Why would anyone do that to themselves? They would not. Also I NEVER ASKED for a REFUND, I asked for a replacement... AGAIN , if there was nothing wrong with the product as you claim why would I choose a replacement and not a refund. It was your choice to refund my money as you "wanted nothing more to do with me." Nice customer service words used there. Yes, you called me and I called back and was treated like I was brain damaged and had no idea what i was talking about even after all my years of using heat press and HIX products, Fixing my older Hix with replacement parts over the years so i was and am well versed on how these machine should work. What is a customer to do when they are cut off mid sentece and told "we'll be in touch." said Jim Francis...

I was also told through Amazon messaging by your company to "Please govern yourself accordingly."... Then you write "When your item arrives we will inspect it and advise on your refund. It is really up to you if you want to wait or order another press now. The problem you described that you had with the first press is not something we can comment on since we have never received a complaint of that nature. Perhaps you'll want to wait to we receive it back so we can determine the exact issue"... 

Then I was told "not to order another press through you and you wanted nothing further to do with me." You also stated "we can agree to disagree on the state of the press." Again, after being in the business for 13+ years, replacing parts on my old Hix that I bought originally from you, having sign afidavits as to what third parties witness not only in seeing me get hurt using the machine but also the functionality of the machine you continued to harrass me to the point that I had to conatct Amazon to have them get involved and ask you to stop.

Where was the customer service here? There was some but it was arrogant and ignornat responses to every word that I said. You only took back the press becuase you were forced to. Thank God I bought it from you through Amazon who had my back.

You did not refund me for shipping. Amazon gave me a courtesousy credit.so again more lies. They told me they were giving me a one time credit to ship the item back to you. It came out of there pocket not yours as you fasley claim and it also cost more than I was given.

Again, it comes back to that I never wanted a refund. Again, here is the email from the Amzon rep to you and I quote "Hello, We've been contacted by a customer regarding the order identified below. -------------------- Order#: 000000 Item: Hix Swingman15 - 15 x 15 Swinger Heat Transfer Press Reason: Received Damaged or Defective Item Details: The item has arrived, but it was damaged. customer needs a replacement.. the customer has returned the item.

Amazon sent that email to you TWICE. "The item has arrived, but it was damaged." and "customer needs a replacement.. the customer has returned the item." Even Amazon requested you send me a replacement as I requested. NEVER looking for a refund. Then you have the nerve to post I had "buyers remorse" which is why it was returned?? Why would I want a REPLACEMENT if i had buyers remorse?? I NEVER asked for money back. You keep making up rebuttlas and stories if it makes you feel better about your company. You customer service is horrid and you treat people liek dirt.

In the end I guess i should be happy to have received a refund as to never have to deal with you people again and to find a company that truly cares about it's customers and provides the type of service that should be provided.

All merchants want return business. That is where most money is made. I guess once you sell something you could care less about your customers. You name is all over the internet for a lot of these same reasons.

A simple replacement on a defective unit that both I and AMAZON requested would have solded the issue and that would have been the end of it. But for me to return it and you never had any intension of honoring the replacement is dirty. You stated I could wait for the item to be returned to order a new unit then you tell me not to bother that you would not honor my order? Let that be a warning to anyone who thinks that they are going to receive support or customer service of any type from anyone there at bextblanks.

Outrageous, False and Disapointing

After 14+ years of selling thousands of heat presses machines as well as other related supplies and equipment, this one is truly a surprise. The customer contacted us with a complaint about the heat press they purchased. We responded immediately and authorized a return.  This customer continued to send multiple threatening emails, of which was unnecessary and unjustified because we had already notified them and authorized an immediate return of the heat press. Upon arrival it was fully inspected and tested and to our amazement there was truly nothing wrong with the press. However, WE ISSUED A FULL REFUND to the customer right anyway and we did so within one day of receipt of the press!  We wish we could upload a video of this press in operation. Based on the customer’s detailed complaint we expected the press to have some or all of the problems they mentioned. It is if they were talking about a different machine. The top pressure adjustment knob was turning  as it’s supposed to and the Swing-away upper platen did indeed swing out as it was designed to do.  So we don’t understand this customers issues.  We stand behind everything we sell, we have no reason not to replace a defective press. The customer asked for our advise on a replacement of the same model, we told them if they were not happy with the way this one was functioning we advised them not to purchase this model. However, (like they are doing in this complaint) they continue to insist we are not a good company and we are liars. How untrue this is. We went out of our way to try and help them.  It is unfortunate that for some people no matter what  you do it is never good enough. This customer received very prompt attention and immediate action from us and a complete and full refund. However, that was clearly not good enough. We urge the reader to visit our website and review the more than 5,000+ feedback comments we have received in the recent past and hope you will see we work very hard to try and satisfy every customer.
