Best Buy Retail Card Services charge account, charging fees, wrong due date based on their cycle time. ripoff Wilmington Delaware

I have been communicating with Best Buy for the last 4 days and am getting nowhere.

I had asked for a due date of the 1st of the month for my charge account. They keep telling me that because the months have 28, 29, 30, or 31 days in them the due date will vary.

According to them the statement date is a fixed date. (Mine is the 11th of the month.) Then the due date is 23 days after the statement date.

Now I don't know where they are coming from but the last time I was in school 11 + 23 = 34. If that is the case then the due date is either on the 3rd in a 31 day month 4th in a 30 day month and the 6th in a 28 day month.

Somebody at hbsc had better go back to school and learn how to add.

They have charged my account $74.00 for returned check charges a late charges. This is just one of the many ways they are ripping off their customers.

If I could pay the account off I would. I am on a fixed income and have now accounts to fall back on each month. My Money is paid to me on the 1st and 3rd of each month. If the due date is before the 1st and I don't pay it until the 1st then I am charged a late fee. This is very wrong and when I get them paid off I probably will not charge anything with them again.

The product I bought is fine and have no problems with that. It is just the credit company. I have other accounts with the same credit company and they are not due until the 7th or 8th of the month.

I personnely feel that this is truely a rip off. I will be contacting them by phone to see if I make any sense out of how they figure their billing.
