Problems I wanted fixed - Devices & Printers sceeen blank - not showing available devises; MS Office Pro applications occasionally froze and attempts to use the Repair feature of the progrm would not work and Adobe Reader update would not complete and couldn't delete program to load updated version. I was told they would delete the Adobe Reader and reload it.

Problems all typed up by me in detail and given to Geeks.

Two days later they called and said it was ready. Upon arrival to pick up they wanted me to sign a statement that all was fixed. I was dealing with a non computer literate sales woman. I tried the Device and Printer section first. It didn't work. I then tried to Repair MS Office. The Repair feature still didn't work. And Adobe had not been reloaded. 

However, it would update.

They had said they would put Webroot on my computer and I told them I didn't want it because I had McAfee Security Scan Plus. When I got the computer back, MaAfee had been erased and Webroot was installed.

Aside from telling me the computer was fixed, although I asked to talk to a terchnition, the non-computer literate woman at the counter acted as a messaenger girl between the Geeks in the back room and no knowledgeable person would talk with me. Obviously the computer had not been checked after they ran their majical software to see if the problems were fixed.

I was told to bring in a printer and they would check it. The printer does not have to be present for its icon to appear on the Device and Printer screen once it is set up. I had a label printer, a Dell printer, a color wifi HP printer, a scanner and other devices. None appeared on the screen. Easy to check, but no-one did.

In the end, they said my computer would have to be reformated meaning I would have to reinstall all the programs. That's easy if you have the program and the drivers and Office !0 etc etc. 

I give this group a 1 only because I was now able to update Adobe Reader (which they were going to reload).For this non-professional service (I use the word "service" loosely) I paid $203
