BEST BUY REWARDS ZONE IS A RIP OFF AND YOU GET TREATED LIKE DIRT WHY NOT THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IN INDIA SO WHAT COULD YOU DO THEM.
goodby you have treated me very poorly and i am not going to take it anymore I have been shopping at best buy for years and When i purchased a 1700 dollar tv i thought i would try your rewards. That was a mistake I called 33 days after my 30 days were up for waiting for the rewards and I contacted the rewards department they said there was a problem and I would have to wait ten days so I did when i called today I was treated ruidly and very nasty person who would not help or provide a name of who i was talking too.
It is now the 17 of dec i have waited long enough for the rewards to come to my email address. The customer service person who i was dealing with had no idea what was going on. If you sign up and need to contact someone you are SCREWED I waited 29min for the pis poor customer service person to help. THANKS FOR NOTHING BEST BUY YOU LOST OUR BUSINESS NO WONDER CIRCUIT CITY AND FRYS ARE MAKING A COME BACK SHOULD HAVE KNOW THIS COMPANY HAS ALREADY RIPPED PEOPLE OFF

"I am a Best Buy employee. However, the views and opinions expressed here are mine and mine alone, and do not necessarily reflect those of any other Best Buy employee or of Best Buy as a company."
Reward Zone is a free points program that works like a club membership. The way it works is, each dollar is roughly worth a point, and every $250 points you receive $5 back.
Reward Zone is extremely simple to set up online (www.bestbuy.com), all you do is enter your member ID (which is on your card), the phone number you provided to sign up, and you zip code. From there you can check your points and arrange for what point level you reach before your coupons are sent. I'm not sure what the default is but you can set it to where you want, for example, you can set it to where you receive your coupons when you have $20 worth and so on and so forth.
ALSO! I noticed that you signed up for the coupons to be sent to your email address. What email service do you have? Many of them will block something that they see as "Spam" or what not. You would need to make absolutely sure that Best Buy's email address is not on your block list, you would also want to check that the associate type your email address exactly correctly. You can check that at www.bestbuy.com.
I am sorry for the way you were treated, but seeing as Reward Zone is a no-obligation, FREE program, it's not a ripoff. Disappointing, I am sure, but not a ripoff.

Where's the rip-off?

It's FREE! You aren't out any money at all. Besides, your rewards certificates would come to your regular home mailbox and not your email. As the Employee poster stated, you can also check your rewards on the web site. I've gotten and used a good bit of their reward certificates and find that it is a very good program. Just remember it's FREE!

The Reward Zone is a FREE membership designed to give customers like yourself a little bit back for shopping at Best Buy. Unfortunately, the system does have a few flaws. You won't receive rewards for things like installation services, sales tax, or performance service plans. In your situation, I would generally recommend a customer go into the store and discuss the problem with a store manager or a sales person. In many cases, the store personnel will calculate the rewards dollars and take them off the price you paid for the television if you haven't received them in time. Another option is to go to www.myrewardzone.com and email customer support with all of your receipt information and reward zone number or phone number and they will address the issue.
