Best Buy ripoff consumer rip-off fraud Roanoke Virginia

i have just about quit dealing with best buy. i have had at least 10 instances where they promise me a mail in rebate. i wait 2 months and i get a letter saying i did not send something, like a upc from the box. which i know i did.

also, there is a stipualation that if you remove the upc from the box and if you have to return the product back before the 30 day warranty runs out, they have the right to not warrant the product.

how can you have the upc when you have sent it in with the mail in rebate?. these people in my opinion are the slickest of crooks. and anyone dealing with them had better beware. i bought a cdrw, a usb 2.0 5 port pci card from them. i was supposed to get $80.00 back in rebates. guess what? today 4-12-03, i received a letter from buslink and siig that i would not receive the rebate because i did'nt send the original upc symbol with the rebate form.

i know i did because i have a copy of both forms with the upc symbols copied on them.also, i think best buy only buy factory overruns. thats when a manufacturer finishes their quota and they have so many thousands left over.

well they throw those things together as fast as they can and sell them to anyone that will buy them in bulk for anout 1/4 the price of the original item. this is my opinion, but i have worked at a few factories that does that. how do you think big lot survives?(my opinion again). it's calles factory over runs.

in my opinion thats why best buy can sell those items cheaper than most. inmo, thats why they have only have a 30 day warranty. and you know the rebates are a sham. to me thats stealing legally. and our politicians are letting them get away with it. after this letter, i'm going to e-mail the attorney general from roanoke and the home office that best buy is in.

if everyone would do that companies like best buy would be put out of business. after all, your attorney general works for you. not the companies. please . fight back legally by e-mailing your attorney general every time you feel you got ripped off. the ag has to responsd.. thanks.
