This company markets and sells popular, glitzy, doll house kits, typically through Ebay.  The advertisements promise a VERY NICE doll house, easily assembled, and ready to go, even offering FREE SHIPPING!   Enticing.   The doll house is easily assembled and is attractive.  However, it is VERY FLIMSY, WOBBLY, and has "walls", "floors", and "ceilings" of printed cardboard which does not snap into place and which WILL NOT stay in place.    You look at the "walls", "floors", and "ceilings" too hard, they fall down.  At best, I can imagine a little girl only displaying this dollhouse.  I cannot conceive of a child actually PLAYING with this fragile toy!

I thought I would disassemble the doll house, apply glue to its many assembly joints, and re-assemble it.  The very first joint I tried to disassemble suffered a broken truss, with the end immediately snapping off where it inserts.   I stopped and emailed the company, requesting information on how to purchase a replacement part.

I was told that the company doesn't keep replacement parts.   I emailed back and asked how I could contact the manufacturer in order to purchase a replacement part.  I was told that there is no contact information available for the manufacturer, which is in China.  (Don't they have business addresses in China?) I emailed again and asked about a refund.   In response to the original email, I had also been told that this model does not come with a warranty.  Now, I was told that I had exceeded the 30 day warranty period and a refund could not be issued.

So, with Christmas less than a week away, I'm stuck with a broken doll house, for which replacement parts cannot be procured, and for which I cannot receive a refund!   This company's motto is: "Best Choice: Where customer service makes the difference."   Really?  When?  Under what conditions?

In the strongest of terms, I URGE EVERYONE TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AND OF ITS SLICK ADVERTISEMENTS!   The ancient advisory still holds true:  Buyer beware.
