Best Discount Network, Best Discount Count Checking Account RIP-OFF Carson City Nevada

On November 7th, 2005 I called the Best Discount Network after checking on the Internet for the best prices for my husband and I's trip to New Zealand scheduled for Feb 02 - Feb 25, 2006 and was quoted a price online. So I called the agency and I spoke to an agent that stated her name was Sandy and she stated that it would be a cheeper fare if I used my checking account or debt card, so dumb me gave her that information and a total of $2954 was to taken out my checking account and she faxed our travel information. I checked my bank to make sure the money was taken out the bank and it was taken out of my checking account on the 9th of November. I was explained all I had to do was take the travel information to the American Airline ticket counter on Feb 2nd and my tickets would be printed at the airport. So I assumed our trip was scheduled. On January 2nd I decided to get all my paper work in order, so I would not be waiting to the last minute. I called Qantas to confirm or seats and was told our trip had not been ticketed, but our seats were on hold and we could not have he held sets until the Best Discount Network had the seats ticketed and the American Airline part of the trip had been canceled and they could not tell me who canceled the trip and why just that it was canceled and because I did not book it through them I had to go back to the Best Discount network to get questions I had answered. Best Discount Network did not answer there calls. So I then called American Airline to see if they could help me. AA informed that trip was canceled on Nov 9th because it was doubled booked and a new conformation number was issued and then that trip was canceled again on Nov 11th altogether. AA did show were The money was taken out of my checking account and they had all my personal information but no ticket information. AA also said if I had used my credit card they could have traced the ticket information but since I used a check they could not. So at this point we do not have airline tickets and we are out of almost $3,000 and we can't get the company to respond to our e-mails or phone calls. So please stay away from this company and always check this site before you use a company online.
