Best Domestic Employment Services Fraud scam via letter thru US Mail and check received, both having different names New York New York

I received a letter from Best Domestic Employment Services, in regards to being a 'secret shopper'. Also included with the letter was a check with a company name Wells Fargo Company in San Francisco, CA, and also received a check in the amount of $4685.00. There are different names on the letter to contact:
1) Paul Hamilton 1-514-561-5729 (Number to call for further instruction)
2) Joseph Miller 1-514-999-3240 ((Number to call for inquiries or complaints)

The letter is signed by a Lane Evans (Director of Operations).

Since I'm far away from New York, at this point, have not called any of the numbers, but plan on calling the phone number of the name of the company on the letter.

I found also, another person who filed a report in regards to the same exact happening, just used different company names BUT the phone numbers are all the same!
