This company attempted to scam me for $149.95!  I (like an idiot) signed up for a free trial for which I only had to pay the shipping cost of $7.95 for a 30 day free trial.  During the last week of my trial I got very busy at work, so I was forced to wait until Saturday to call the company.

The last day of my trial was 7/1/17, the same Saturday morning that I'd planned to call and cancel the trial.  However, when I woke up that morning, I discovered that they had charged my account the $149.95 at MIDNIGHT, as soon as the last day of my trial began, effectively shorting me a day on my trial.

I called anyway to cancel, and the woman I spoke to was agreeable about the cancellation, but when I told her I expected a full refund since I had lived up to my end of the deal and called to cancel within the alloted time, she told me that she could not refund my account since they had already sent the charge through.

She then proceeded to attempt to sell me MORE of their products at reduced rates for future shipments - I obviously laughed in her face and told her that I didn't even want the awful product they'd sent to me in the first place, and again demanded a refund.  After much debating and a phone call to my own bank, she offered to credit me back $90.00 of the charge, and I agreed because at that point I was sick of talking about it.

As I mentioned before, that all happened on 7/1/17.  I was pleased to see that each day when I checked my bank account, the charge had not shown up at all, and I forgot about it and moved on.  Therefore, you can imagine my surprise and rage when I saw the charge reappear on my account on 7/15/17!  I guess they thought I wouldn't notice the $149.95 charge the second time it showed up?

Luckily for me, I worked in retail banking for quite a long time in the past, and I knew that at this point I would be able to dispute the charge.  I called the company and got a confirmation number for my cancellation and then called my bank's fraud department to explain the whole situation.  I'm thrilled to say that I saw today that the funds had been returned to my account, but that is ONLY due to my bank's wonderful fraud department.

Bottom line - DO NOT ACCPT A FREE TRIAL OFFER FROM A LASH SERUM COMPANY WHICH SAYS YOU ONLY HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING!  I read another report that sounded exactly like what happened to me but under a different company name, so beware!
