i am reporting this outrageous rip off by the company by name bestlocalrelocation.com on sunday october 24, 2010.  last year i had more stuff ( 2 huge shelves, 2 futons, computer table, 1 additional bed, 1 additional box spring etc , that time i did not even have packing boxes, or tape it was almost same - 5.4 miles distance, 3 people ) one good company charged me only 540. so i was expecting a charge of 350$. 

this time this company by name "best local relocation" has charged outrageous 840$ for 7hrs of service with 2 people. the package material charges are more than the labor.  he had put some 200+ some specific package, i asked him what is that, he said he will not unload if i don't sign this outrageous charge. this is total blackmail and ridiculous. he said that packing material gone waste and he cant show me or i cant have it. 

he broke one white cupboard and claims its a press board and not covered under insurance. while ordering the service the phone guy chris said all my stuff is under insurance.  he used 2 times of 75$ for long carry. before starting the work he said he will waive this off.after packing and before delivering he said he cant waive that off. the other company did not charge me. one time 75$ is ok cos my delivery address is in 2nd floor, but the truck was parked right below the apt stairs. 

the phone guy chris who arranged this service said he will waive 75$ from packing material, he sent me wrong bill until i specifically asked him to mention that and send,again he sent the wrong bill to his internal moving company.he promised me whatever packing material they had will be given to me.

i had all the boxes, all things were already packed inside with my own tape even before they arrived. package material was used only for 2 sofas, 2 tables, 1 tv stand. whatever material they used to pack these, they took away.  the truck number they used was 8k439 or 8x439. my picture is not clear as it was night time and raining.  they have ripped off nearly 500$ from me. please join forces to stop these frauds.
