My family has rented in The Villages 19 times over the past 10 years and has the receipts and glowing references to prove it. This Spring we were undecided to visit my parents in The Villages with the economy what it has been. Near the last minute we decided to go and found Best Rent Finders through VacationRentals411.com and contacted Laurie Rosenau about a house she owns in The Villages. Last minute rental and a lengthly contract should have been a warning but we signed and went on vacation.
We were charged a $250 non refundable cleaning fee, prime rates during off season, and promised high speed internet upon arrival. We arrived to a home with 6 place settings, no placemats, no high speed, and a gasoline smelling bass boat in the garage. The high speed was finally installed on a Tuesday, 4 days after arrival and the quoted $10 hook up turned out to be $28 (another warning sign). Since we had been charged a $250 non refundable clean up, we left the stripped laundry in the laundry room, bagged all of te trash to leave in the garage, and left the keys in the home as directed at the end of the week.
3 weeks later and with no contact we inquired about the security deposit and were told that the trash was excessive, there were crumbs under a sofa, and neighbors had reported that there were more than 6 people living in the home (not true). A full month later and with no reply to numerous emails and a hang up on a phone contact we received our security deposit less an additional $50.00 for clean up. Laurie stated that she had to wait for the utility bills to arrive to make sure that there were no excessive run ups in usage. My guess is she was waiting for the CD to mature so as to receive the additional interest on top of the excessive rent and excessive clean up fee.

The Rip off Artist in this case is the consumer in this case. They have an opinion but no the facts. Laurie Rosenau does not represent Best Rent Finders. She is an independent owner who purchased a property in Florida - privately owned. Its funny when uneducated people blame the world and not themselves when it comes to honoring their commitments and making hasty claims. They claim they are victims when in reality they are just immature and try to throw everyone under the bus when stomping their feet like children
All I can say is Best Rent Finders of Las Vegas is the most honorable company I have ever worked with.
