On October 11 I placed an online order for two golf clubs from BestBuy golf supply. I chose them because their prices were reasonable, even if for knockoffs of brand name clubs. They don't claim to be the same clubs as the brand names, you are buying generic clubs and they make that clear. What they do is fail to send your merchandise and keep you in the dark while trying to figure out what happened to your order.
3 weeks after placing my order, which was promised to be delivered in 3 - 5 business days, I finally called and left a message inquiring as to the status of my order. I received no return call. As a matter of fact, I received no response whatsoever. I then tried an e-mail to which I received a response asking me what the problem was. I resonded to that and that is where it ended.
At 5 weeks after I placed my order I called and spoke to someone at BestBuy Golf and I was told that my club was delayed because parts were being held up in shipping due to the dock workers strike. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and took him at his word. I was told at that time that my clubs would ship in 5 days. Thay never shipped.
I was then contacted and told that the club I wanted was no longer available and offered a suitable substitute. I was told I could get it in 4 days. Needless to say I got nothing.
At 7 weeks after I placed my order I called and left a message cancelling one of the clubs in my order. I also spoke to a representative and I was told that the other club in my order was on the work bench and being assembled as we spoke and it was going to ship the next day.
At 9 weeks after I placed my order I still have not received any merchandise and I have cancelled my entire order. I am not sure if they know this because I could not get anybody on the phone and left a message for them.
BestBuy Golf Supply lies to their customers - I was told my merchandise was being assembled and was going to ship. That was 2 weeks ago, no golf club.
BESTBUY Golf Supply does not know customer service because they fail to keep their customers advised of changes in shipping and availability of goods.
I would like to speak to a representative of BESTBUY and let him know what I think of his company.
