This website claims that by joining their website, you can earn cash rebates from stores, up to 40%. They have a trial membership for $3.95, which is a 10-day trial. They claim that if you join, you will get your $3.95 back in the form of a reward as well as $100 worth of shopping certificates to use and 2 airline tickets valued at $800.00. After the ten days, you can cancel or pay a monthly fee of $12.95.
I joined and immediately realized that it was a bogus website. The stores they show you to entice you to join are Wal-Mart, Target, Old Navy, etc. But the number of stores that they actually have on their site are minimal. Nearly all the stores they offer only give you 2-3 percent back. There are a few that will give you a bit more but nothing gives you 40%.
The airline tickets they claim you will get involves you staying for the full trial period, printing out a certificate, mailing it in, and using their hotels. The tickets are not tickets that you can just use. There are strings attached. The $100 worth of shopping certificates is a total lie. They give you $25 every 3 months for 12 months. You don't get $100 upfront. They want you to pay $12.95 a month for 12 months, totalling $155.40, in order to get $100 that you must spend in a store they offer.
DO NOT JOIN THIS SITE!! When you think about it, you spend $12.95 a month to save 2% here or 4% there. If you spend $100 at Gap, which give you 4% back, you get a whopping $4 in your account. The kicker is that they wont mail you the money you earned until it reaches $25 in rebates. You have to spend an awful amount of money to warrant the $12.95 a month it costs to save. Your best bet is not pay a monthly fee and keep that money in your pocket.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!!

#2 REBUTTAL Individual responds
A Typical Response!

I received a call from someone at this company to find out why I was dissatisfied after I made the complaint with the BBB. I explained that the information you receive prior to signing up is NOT the full details of the membership. I was told that they cannot explain everything. Yet, the response they posted to the complaint on this site has more detail than their website does.
There are plenty of sites that offer cash back in the same exact fashion or better without having to pay. You think if you are paying for a membership, the rewards would be better. This is obviously not true for this website. Ebates.com and others have better deals without no fees.
They lure you in with promises of huge savings and free things and then after you pay, you realize its not what its cracked up to be.
Trust your instinct and don't be fooled by it.

BestDeals2You, is good and is true!

Below is an excert from our letter to the BetterBusniessBureau and a response to this posting;
We are responding to the letter sent to us, regarding Case # 655875.
We contacted Joann on 12/8/05, and resolved the matter.
When we spoke with her, we were able clear up some
misunderstandings as to what our business is. We issued back a refund of $3.95, as this was the amount in dispute.
BestDeals2You is an interactive, Cash back Shopping Network made up of over 700 online stores and services. When a BestDeals2You member
shops a merchant through our site, that member will receive a Cash Back Reward, which is usually a percentage of the transaction amount. Of the over 700 merchants that are accessed through our site, the Cash Back Rewards may vary in amounts of 4% to as high as 40%. A complete list of all of our merchants is available to be viewed prior to the member joining.
These rewards are available to our members to cash out once they have met a threshold amount of at least 25 dollars.
We offer a ten-day trial period for interested members of $3.95, to access our club and determine if this is a service that they would be able to benefit and enjoy. If deciding to remain a member, they would be charged $149.95, an annual membership fee that would break down to $12.50 a month. There is also a monthly billing option available for members who contact us. Prior to signing up for the ten-day trial, the member has full access to all our Terms and Conditions as well as explaining, What it is the Member is Getting, Benefits of the Club, Frequently Asked Questions about the club, and our Satisfaction Guarantee. We offer as a premium to our trial members, a promotion for two free round trip airline tickets. This was available to all members who tried the club for ten days. In addition to the Cash Back Rewards, we offer to our full members a shopping spree, totaling $100.00 over the course of their annual membership. Certificates and the terms and conditions for both the airline tickets and shopping spree are available on the member's on-line account to be printed, reviewed and sent in.
Joann had entered our ten-day trial period at the web address https://www.cashbackforshopping.com/process.php on 11/8/05 at 11:33: 25 am.
There was $13.95 waiting in her on-line reward account, the $3.95 trial fee and an additional $10.00 to cover a processing fee for the airline certificates. These rewards were available to be cashed out if she decided to remain a member with us. Joann had used our club and made a purchase at K B toys for $39.99 and earned $1.60 in her Cash Back Reward account. At 3:35pm on 11/8/05, the member cancelled their account out and requested a refund of the $3.95 trial membership fee via E-mail. As it is our policy not to refund the $3.95 processing fee, we had sent her a reply to the email explaining this.
Until this letter, we were unaware of Joann's concerns and misunderstanding of how it is our club works. Speaking with her, we explained all that is contained in this letter and offered to refund the $3.95 processing fee. After losing her cell phone service, we followed with a voice message, leaving our phone number and an extension if she had any further questions.
Joann also seemed concerned that our club was to good to be true. If Joann did remain a member with us, below is a scenario where she could take full advantage of what our club has to offer.
Joann had $13.95 waiting in her account had she remained a member. Her purchase at K-B toys earned her an additional $1.60 and she would be able to use one of her 4 $25 certificates on her $39.99 Purchase. Assuming she would purchase an item of at least $25 or more every three months, after 1 year she could accumulate at a minimum $119.00.
There is also some purchase suggestion that could be made to utilize the club:
Open an EBay account through our club and receive $16 in cash back rewards.
Purchase a children's magazine subscription to ZooBooks, for $19.95 and earn $36 reward dollars for selecting "bill me later" option.
Purchase a subscription to USA Today and earn $16 Reward dollars.
Register with Stamps.com for inter-net postal solutions and earn $48 reward dollars.
Go to Blockbuster online and receive $14 reward dollars for on line movie rentals.
Looking at this sampling, Joann could earn an additional $120.00 in Cash Back Rewards. Her reward account and shopping certificates are now totaling $249.00. Having purchased the club for $149.95, Joann has earned an additional $99 for services she may have already been shopping on line. We at Bestdeals2you are hoping that questions about our club and our services were made more clear and understandable. Our members' satisfaction is important to us and we always look forward to ways that we can better serve our members.
