Ordered Ranger Rick mag for a friend's daughter. Went to bestdealmagazines.com and got in the middle of the order and could not get the coupon code to register, plus my computer went crazy. Closed it. Went back to bestdealmagazine.com, sucessfully ordered WITH coupon code. Then checked my credit card account and found that I had been charged for two (2) subscriptions with different prices. One reflecting NO discount, the other reflecting the discount.
I received two (2) order confirmations from bestdealmagazines.com. Then when I tried to contact them about the screwup, and went to their additional support@bestdealmagazines.com, I kept getting a Mailer Daemon report from my server.
I contacted my bank, they said I can't really do anything until I receive my billing from them, then I have 60 days to dispute it.
My question is, has anyone else had this kind of difficulty with these magazine clearinghouses? or is there anything I can do, besides to wait and dispute it with my bank? I'm sure my friend's daughter really doesn't need or want two full subscriptions to the magazine!
