January 12, 2008 - "Steve" calls me mid-day to confirm my order, and asks if I'd like to add a battery to the camera. Figuring that must have been why it was so cheap, I agreed to a 200$ 5-hour battery as opposed to a $150 2-hour battery. He had asked for the digits on the back of my credit card, and I told him, figuring that they needed it eventually, recalling that the website had not asked for it. Making my order 638.00
That night I checked my mail where I saw an e-mail from a Kristina about a "Problem with your order#171233".
Thank you for placing your order with Best Price Cameras. Your order is currently being processed but unfortunately we could not bill your credit
card for the full amount that's on the order - the credit card has been declined.
This may be because you have a limit that's allowed to be charged per day or, unfortunately we have a mistake in your credit card number. We ask that you please check with your Credit Card Company or bank and get back to us as soon as possible in regards to this matter. If you wish to use another credit card, please contact us.
Thank You,

Looking at it again now, I notice the email from Steve came at Wed 1/09/08 5:02 PM and Kristine on Wed 1/09/08 6:41 PM, less than two hours apart, and the DENIAL 3 (two full business) days before being called to confirm the order. Unfortunately, I had not seen the second email in time, which could have prevented this.
January 14, 2008 - I check the balance of my credit card, and behold, a $500 charge to a INF MRAC JF , leading me to search that online, coming upon forums of the scam behind www.bestpricecameras.com

I tried calling my bank/credit card issuer the next day to see what they could do against the charge but they couldn't help.
Within the next few days I had tried calling the numbers and extensions given from best price cameras but no one would answer. I got a hold of someone and asked to cancel my order, and when the random man asked why I simply said because I had found a cheaper one some where else. He kept trying to save the order by asking how much cheaper, offering to match the "50$" cheaper price, but I said no thanks, and he all of the sudden said that they charge a 5% fee to canceled orders, which would have been 25$, and insisted that saving only 25$ was not worth ordering from somewhere else. I finally told him I didn't want to deal with his little scam company and he flipped out, asking what scam and what I was talking about. I finally asked him if the order was canceled repeatedly and after a few times he said yes and I hung up.
The next day I called again, and got a hold of a lady and asked her what the status was with my order. After giving her my order number, she said it had been canceled and I had simply hung up. As of Feb. 12th, I watched the 500$ fee disappear from my online banking, and never saw a fee for 25$. But I am still uneasy about them having my credit card number.
