Bestway Rent to Own, Greenwood, MS 38930 none Rented riding lawn mower; had mechanical problems; no loaner available; mower not fixed to date Greenwood, Mississippi

I rented a riding lawn mower from Bestway Rent to Own in Greenwood, MS 38930.  I had mechanical problems with mower approximately one year after I started renting. I reported it to the store manager and was told that I could get a loaner until the Sears serviceman could fix mine.  After multiple requests for someone to bring me a loaner and or fix my mower it took a month and one half the first time.  I did not even know the serviceman had come to fix it until I called the store on one occasion and was informed that he had indeed come to my home.  First of all, it was my understanding that the serviceman was supposed to call me first to make sure I was home and second, not come onto my property without notice.  

I tried using the mower and got through approximately 1/2 my yard before the mower quit again.  I reported that also ......mind you I have paid my note for the previous month the mower was unopperable.....I took even longer this time to have a serviceman come out to make (so-called)repairs.  Again I was not home and was told that he had been to my home and repaired it.  Again I tried mowing my lawn and got finished with it but the next week I tried to mow and the exact same mechanical  problem occurs....Again the waiting game began.  

I repeatedly called the local store asking for some answers as to when the mower would be fixed or when they would have a loaner all i got was lies and excuses!!! Payment day comes and magically the store manager gets the serviceman to come and perform one of his" temporary rigging  tricks" on the mower in an attempt to get a payment.  I told him that I would have to test the mower out to make sure that it was properly repaired before I gave him my monthly payment.  Luckily I followed my instincts because I began mowing my lawn the next morning and only got through one strip before the mower quit working again.  If that was already enough I called the manager again and waited for the lies to commense.  The mower was picked up this time by bestway  because they claimed they were going to get it fixed in the store.  It has been almost a month and it is stil not repaired.  My yard looked like a jungle.  I complained today May 22, 2012 and called the  District manager who said he would call local store manager and tell him of another repairman to use.  I told him that I was not satisfied with that because I keep hearing the same thing.  He offered to have local store pay someone to mow my yard.  Local store manager called stating that he would have someone come by and mow the yard May 22, 2012.  It is now May25, 2012 and yard still not mowed after 7 calls to him.  I finally paid someone to mow my yard myself.  Bestway is a rip-off!!!!!
