This company, FaxBetter.com, is a company that lets you send and receive faxes. I paid about $10 a month for this service. I use it to fax in my work deals so I can get paid for my work. Everything was fine till one day I could not get into my account, my email and password were correct but for some reason it just would not let me in, i figured it might be because the credit card I used I had shut off the day before and had gotten a new one and was trying to get into my account to update my billing information. Since I could not log in after trying everything I could I wrote their "customer service" department, since they do not have any other way of getting in contact with them, and I never received a response back till a week or so later. By that point I had already just signed up again using the exact same email and password. I could not wait any longer for their response because I had to get my work in, I figured since it let me use the same email and password for a new account then the account I could not get into must of just been canceled.

Then (now) all of the sudden I am receiving emails saying they are attempting over and over again to collect $ from the old card and that I have a past due balance. I have requested numerous times for them to stop attempting to charge that card and to cancel that account, they email me back a rude email a week later to tell me I have to go into the account and cancel it myself, AN ACCOUNT I CAN NOT EVEN LOG INTO, and how does it even still exist to get into if I already have an new account with the same email and password? I have had enough of this company double charging me and not even attempting to help me or give me any kind of customer service. I have never had this terrible of customer service ever! I encourage everyone who has a FaxBetter account to cancel it (if you can) and go to another company like MetroFax. FAX BETTER IS A JOKE AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Alisha         (((REDACTED)))@gmail.com

This is the first we are seeing of this report. Let me first apologize personally for the frustration that was caused.

Since this was report was filed we have improved our customer support by adding a toll free number, 855-Fax-Better (855-329-2388). Additionally, 90% of all customer emails are handled within 1 hour of their being submitted.

It may be that this customer had had a problem because they were entering BetterFax.com instead of FaxBetter.com. BetterFax.com is not affiliated with FaxBetter.com. This could have caused the problem with them not being able to locate their account and then being double charged (once by FaxBetter.com and then a second time by BetterFax.com).

If this customer has any additional questions or comments, please feel free to have them contact us. We will certianly get back to them ASAP.
