First of all, if you rent to her parents - Bill & Cheryl Adams, be aware that the apt may seem to be rented to a nice old couple - but in fact their daughter & her 6 children (that she has custody of) will b there everyday, ALL day.

As a neighbor who tried to remain civil/ friendly with them, I got to know how things worked over there. I mistakingly thought that some appropriate conversation may help this young girl, who is struggling at such a young age & with so many kids... I was wrong, and would gladly testify for the state if & when they attempt to take those children away. She takes the state money & buys off-road vehicles for her boyfriend, eats like a queen - while the children are visibly malnourished & constantly becoming "homeless" 4-6 times a year, b/c she doesnt take the state aid & use it for a home, as she should.

1) The very first day they moved in -the father (grandfather to the kids) told me about how his wife had been, lets say "violated" by 3 black men & that she would never have sex with him again. He winked and told me that he is allowed to have a girlfriend to help him with his needs. He filled me in on everything, during that one encounter at the fence. Not only about his wife, but also that the children are there b/c the state didnt want them living with the mother for the time being, and for the first year the mother came everyday before 7 am, and stayed at the parents until dark, then took the kids home.

2)She has 7 kids, willingly gave up custody of 1 b/c her boyfriend was abusing him - and the father said it needed to stop - since she had no desire to stop it, she just gave him away.

3) One daughter has been diagnosed with a foot infliction - so she can't walk that well & Ms Adams receives SSI for her b/c of it. The child is supposed to wear braces on her feet - but only does 15 minutes before the aide shows up at their door. I had no idea the foot issue had been inflicted upon the child UNTIL I observed the new baby kept in a carseat for TWO YEARS. Now that little boy has an issue with his feet (they say he has weak ankles) and I believe that she will end up applying for SSI for him too.

4) My children & I have observed her instruct the 3 year old to say "F__ Y__ grandpa, and they all (including the grandfather) laugh & think it's funny.

5) My children & I have observed her instruct the 8 year old to say F____ Y__ N____ to a black man walking past the house. A week later that same child is out of school, and she tells me it is b/c a couple of black kids tried to beat him up.

ALSO disturbing with this particular child - he is diagnosed with "problems" that require him to take meds. One time he slept over at my house, and at first he was cursing & saying nasty things. My older son said to him "we don't talk or act like that around here, if you do you will have to go home". HE WAS AN ANGEL the rest of the night & next day. A child with a legitimate mental disability is NOT going to shape up JUST b/c you tell him nicely, once. THAT showed me that he was mentally able to comprehend. If you think about it - and a child has no discipline, routine, structure, home life - and then you teach him to say curse words & racial words, ISN'T a professional (not privy to inside info) going to THINK he has a mental disability? Isn't this rearing actually so detrimental that it will most likely cause him to be honestly disabled by the time he reaches adulthood?

6) I have watched her come home with food from KFC, a full meal for both herself & boyfriend, and then a small order of chicken tenders for ALL the kids to share.

7) My children (not me) have seen her hit the 2 & 3 yr olds up side the head, for yelling Hi to me out the window- and then she tells them I am a___, all the bad words you can imagine.

8) If her brother (the only one seemingly with his head on straight) hits on you (and the whole family tells you he is now single, although he is not), and you dare watch a movie with him, you are now a Wh___, another word for a "bad girl that gets around" if u know what i mean.. EVEN THOUGH you profess that no sex (of any kind) occurred, yes he tried, but was denied, you are still that bad word.

Now my children & hers will hear those nasty words yelled at me every time she sees me, but it is quite comical coming from someone under the age of 30, that has produced 7 children already, plus a couple of miscarriages. Add that to the sight of a 3-toned hairdo & dirty white wife beater with her stretchmarked stomach falling out- YEAH!?

8) If you dare speak to them about a shared property line issue - they will take it out on your property or pets. Raw meat & chicken bones thrown to the dog, eggs (among other unknown substances) thrown into the pool, scratches that appear in your new car overnight, although you drove nowhere, etc.

I called the cops, they say NO PROOF. I called the 800 number for child abuse, they can only take what i have seen(not the children), and i have seen no physical abuse. (thats right - keeping your kid in a carseat until he is so big he is spilling out of it is apparently NOT what they determine as abuse- even though it seems like Mnchhausen by proxy/ something like that). The man that took the call agreed it was horrible - the cursing, but he said its not abuse, or illegal.

As soon as the surveillance equipment was set up, they mysteriously moved out within a month, which is nice FOR ME, but i often think of those poor kids, and how their future is DOOMED. It seems to me that this is the kind of travesty that can be prevented, but the system will probably do nothing about it until one of the kids are violated, maimed, or dead.
