I Ordered $13,574 worth of junk silver ($1000 face value) from BGASC. When shipment arrived it only had $4,072 worth of junk silver ($300 face value) in the box, $9,500 worth of silver had been stolen. I assumed that the loss would be covered because the webpage stated that it was insured. When I contacted BGASC they gave me the bums rush and said that they were not liable. The Insurance mentioned in their webpage only covers BGASC from loss the consumer is just out of luck. Copied from their webpage “Every single package we ship is sent with full shipping insurance for its time in transit. This means that in the unlikely case your package is lost or damaged while in transit, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price.” This is just not true. I agreed in their Terms & Conditions that I would not sue them so I have no recourse. I filled a claim with the USPS but they will only cover at the most a $5,000 lost, if the USPS pays the max amount I will still out will be $4,500. If I had known that the shipment was not covered I would not have bought from BGASC.

Every package we ship is fully insured until a signature is obtained. Any customer buying precious metals from ANY dealer must take the responsibility to examine the box before signing for the contents. All of our boxes are sealed with tamper evident string tape so that a customer can easily tell if the package is as packed.
In addition, EVERY order we ship is picked, triple checked, packed, and passed to the carrier fully on video via many many cameras so we can go back and look at tape archives to ensure the shipment is proper. Our label carries no identification of the contents either.
We prefer to ship through the US Mail as it is a federal felony to tamper with the mail and their inspectors carry guns.
