CEO of Big Cat Rescue of Tampa is the leading suspect of the missing body of Jack Don Lewis, who was her husband and filed a protection order just two months prior to him being reported missing. Jack's children believe that Carole "Lewis" Baskin ground his body up and fed him to the tigers. A septic tank was installed on the property of Big Cat Rescue the day before he was reported missing and it is believed that the remains are under that septic tank but lack the proof for a warrant to dig it up. Today Carole continues to lie and fraud the public with her so called world's largest sanctuary. She did not file for non-profit status until 2003 but on her website she claims that it has been in business since 1992. From 1992 to the early 2000's Carole called her place of business then Wildlife of Easy Street which was a breeding farm for exotic cats. Buying most of the animals totaling over $97,000. [continued below]....
.....00 worth of breeders and still having most of them today pretending and lying to the public that they were rescues from the pet trade when they in fact were Caroles pets and breeders. Today she receives over 1 million dollars in public donations to care for her hobby by telling people on the internet that the animals were rescued. See receipts In the early 2000's Carole changed the name to Big Cat Rescue to get out from under the black cloud of injuries to the staff and the public, animals escaping their cages and getting out to the public and the fact that she might have fed her husband to the tigers, so changing the name and getting re-married was a must. Today she has landed herself yet another wealthy man who has fallen under the spell of the black cougar Howard Baskin who will do anything to further his wife's mission including assault, but will he kill for her? The mystery remains just how far he will go to please his wife before ending up in the meat grinder as maybe her last husband did. Calling her self an advocate for exotic cats, Carole makes more money by giving tours of her cat collection, selling merchandise and lying to the public of where these cats really came from. Beware of the black cougar lady and keep your money in your pocket.
