Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
Wow, I just got played, Had a flat tire replace at BIG O Tire , walked out the door $173 for a single tire, One phone call later I get a better price from their competitor, So after speaking with their manager via phone I was told it would be honored and matched. (2 days Later) I come in the same guy I talked to on the phone tells me he will not match their compactors price. (>$70 dollar difference). I am shocked, and disappointed, perhaps if I was 10 years older and one of those alpha males on beta blockers would I have been treated differently? Just DON'T go to BIG O TIRES it doesnt feel too good to get played. :((

Basically, what you're saying is that you bought something, later found it cheaper, and want the original business to just hand over money to you based on some competitor's possibly imaginary price.
I suppose it never occured to you to make your "one phone call" before you bought the tire from Big O.
This notion that retailers should make concessions to customers who do their shopping AFTER the sale is absurd. I really feel sorry for them having to deal with customers who have this Walmart mentality.
