Big Sam Moving Co. Inc Unreliable, unprofessional, theft Jersey Citu, New Jersey

I called Big Sam Moving, Inc. after searching for movers online. I spoke to a woman with a heavy accent who could barely respond to my questions, but I was extremely patient. She gave me a quote and after getting quotes from various movers, I decided to move forward with Big Sam Moving, Inc. as she offered me a good price. We set the time and date... and that day, was absolutely the worst experience I have ever encountered. Mike, a tall, bearded, light skinned man with a husky voice in his late 40s, completely increased the price as soon as he walked up four flights of stairs. He complained that stairs were an additional price. However, the woman who gave me a quote confirmed that stairs was included in the price she had already quoted. When I disagreed with "Mike", he called me a liar - more like yelled. When I refused to offer additional money, he advised his two movers - one dark skinned, big boned man wearing a bandana and headphones and one short, medium build, dark skinned man with a mustache - to drop the boxes and items, even if they were on the street because I would not cough up extra dollars. It was absolutely the most unprofessional move a company could make - to leave personal belongings in the street. I was so overwhelmed and began to almost lose it. He called the woman in his office to double confirm her quote then yelled at her too. The woman called my cell phone and yelled at me even more. It was a crazy circus. At the risk of losing my things, I offered to pay the additional fee which was about a couple of hundred more. It seemed as if everything was fine... until the next day when I discovered my laptop was missing. I specifically advised the movers not to touch my purse or laptop and no one else was in my apartment to take it, except for the three men. I immediately filed a police report, canceled all credit card info, and called the credit bureua. I called Big Sam Moving, Inc. and "Mike" yelled at me, "What laptop? Leave us alone," then hung up before I could even go on. I do not recommend this company at all. I also do not understand why they have an A+ with Better Business Bureau.
