Bill Hugall advertised a coaching program to help me learn internet marketing. I attended a webinar and responded to the call to action at the end.

I filled out a questionnaire (designed to do a take away - reverse psychology) applying for a "position" in his coaching program and of course positions were limited. I knew the strategy but didn't mind because I felt he would be a great coach from the webinar I attended.

I got a call from his sales guy, Lloyd, who proceeded to interview me. Again,a great tactic! The old take-away to see if I QUALIFIED for the coaching program. Of course, I knew exactly what answers to give him but it wouldn't have mattered anyway because the only qualification I needed was $5000. LOL!

So, this Lloyd tells me that Bill will work with me personally, help me figure out a niche, and guide me one on one, essentially be a personal business coach. He also told me that I would be placed in a FB group called the "Success Lounge" with other successful marketers in Bill's coaching program. (There are approximately 56 IM marketers in there who do nothing but pat each other on the back all day long...). I bet THEY didn't spend $5000 to be thrown into a FB group.

Lloyd, the sales guy, told me that if for any reason, within the first 10 days I did not feel this was for me, I would get 100% of my money back, no questions asked.  Well, that didn't happen.

So like an idiot I sent $5000 through PayPal to Bill Hugall Enterprises. What I should have done first was get in writing EXACTLY what I was getting for my $5000. Buyer Beware!

So, I get a call from Bill a few days later introducing himself and telling me the plan. I was given access to the private FB group where a "thread" was set up for me to ask questions and interact with Bill and the others in the group. Bill told me that the more I interacted and made friends with others in the group, the more help I would get from them. So of course I spent a lot of time making comments and liking just about everything they said so I could show I was on board. He also had some videos for me to watch that "explained" how to do this Internet marketing thing. Of course, they were not designed for a beginner and as it turned out, that was the extent of Bill's "coaching".

I entered some comments into my FB thread asking what I needed to do to get started, what was my first step, etc, asking him where was my coaching and direction. I listed out the questions I had and told him I didn't have a clue how to start. His response basically was that I had a BAD attitude and I was negative and that I had to get my head on straight.  He implied that by asking questions, I was making excuses!!!!

Rather than provide the coaching I had paid for, he kind of ridiculed me and of course this was posted in the FB group. So everyone saw I had an "atittude" HA! Of course I had a attitude. I just paid $5K for nothing, no coaching, no help.

Then Bill held a webinar for his members and decided to make me the subject of the webinar by outlining a "plan" of action for me to take. LOL!!! What a joke! My plan of action was to contact an "expert" in the group, interview them and turn that into a product to sell, a WSO. Well, hell, I didn't have a clue how to go about doing that. I didn't even know what WSO meant! When I asked Bill exactly HOW to go about doing this, he again implied I needed to have a more positive attitude and just jump in and do it (Do what???).

So I told him I wanted out and that I was in over my head and that this wasn't what I expected, etc. He begged and pleaded and told me he would NOT let me fail - that HE would run a campaign, a WSO, and MAKE SURE I made $5000. Like an idiot I agreed to stay with him. All the time I am telling him "I won't give up, I Can do this...blah blah blah," because he made me feel like there was something wrong with ME that I wasn't learning the ropes and I wanted to show him that I DID have a good attitude. Kind of a bully, don't you think?

Bottom line: No coaching, no guidance, nada, zip.... I essentially paid $5k to join a private FB group with NO help whatsoever.

So, finally I told him that was it, I wanted a refund. He kept putting that off and stalling me but finally I think he realized he had better do something. He finally refunded ONLY $4000 telling me he was keeping $1000 for his time and the content I got from his FB site. What a bunch of garbage. What time?? He may have spent a total of 15 minutes with me and believe me, there is no content in the FB group for someone needing to learn about how to start an online business that is a beginner.  There are no lessons and no resources other than the other members "offers" that they are selling to the IM world.  Again, it is just a bunch of marketers joining each others offers and patting each other on the back. No help for a newbie here!

I could fight this with Paypal, but what's the use. I don't have the time or energy to deal with it. So I thought I would let everyone know what a CROOK and SCAM artist this guy Bill Hugall is.

I Like Bill!

AUTHOR: Vaughn - (Canada)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 10, 2015

I am truly confused by this report on Bill Hugall. I am also one
of his students and I am in the Facebook group that is discussed.

My experience with the process has been radically different. Bill,
and others in the group, have taken time to explain concepts to me
and to develop a workable plan. It has been a process which I have
found to be extremely educational and even fun.

Bill is an excellent role model whom I have found to be honest. He
has proof that his methods work. Primarily, he is interested in
producing value for customers. This is one of his recurring themes,
which he backs up. He offers a great deal of information for free
on his web sites and on YouTube. I believe that Bill genuinely wants
others to be as successful as him, or even more so.

To be honest, I have not quite been able to implement all of the training
that Bill offers. That is my fault, not anyone else's. That said, I
feel that I am part of a group that is there to help me when I need
help, and encourage me when I need it. The methods that I will use
are not the all too common "get rich quick" types. My implementation
takes time, and skill, in order to deliver as perfect a customer
experience as possible. I am in this game for the long term, as is Bill.

OK, I over-reacted

POSTED: Tuesday, November 10, 2015

Bill, you can post all of my positive words in our PMs that you want but it doesn't change the fact that I was asking for help in those PM's and the coaching I thought you had promised.  And, think of it this way:  I HAD to be positive - I wanted so badly for this to be the answer to my prayers.  So I played the "happy face" game in the group and for you.  Call it wishful thinking and wanting to fit in...  So now you turn that on me.  Well, OK, no big deal.

it is not my style to post what I did about you.  I was angry, very angry and felt ripped off for the umpteenth time on the Internet.  I was promised a full refund if it didn't work out.  And yes, I felt I owed you a couple of hundred dollars for your time, but not $1000.  So lesson learned.

Next time I will investigate fully what I will be getting for my money.  What you have is fine for the advanced marketer, but I really expected a step by step, structured coaching, with weekly phone calls from you.  I wanted coaching from YOU, not a FB group (and yes, they are all good guys and they are all sucessful and they were willing to help. But they were not paid to coach me, you were).  It is what it is... life goes on.

Cindy, I wish I had your experience

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, November 10, 2015

Cindy, I am glad you had that experience with Bill.  I really am.  That is not what I was getting.  I expected one-on-one coaching, phone calls, skype, etc. but I didn't get that.  I believe my expectations were not realistic from the beginning and I should have clarified EXACTLY what the program consisted of before I paid my money.  I expected a structured training program and not just being part of a FB group and having to ferret out the information on my own through interacting with the members.  And, yes, all members were wonderful and tried to help as much as they could, but that was not their job.  I didn't pay THEM to coach me.  I paid Bill.  That's all.  Glad you had a happy experience.

Your report contradicts the facts... and even itself!14

AUTHOR: Mikel Perez - (Spain)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 10, 2015

I wanted to shared my experience with Bill Hugall, and analyze the report filed in by Sylvia. Based on facts, not opinions.

Fact #1: First, she states that "There are approximately 56 IM marketers in there who do nothing but pat each other on the back all day long...". Well, as a member of the coaching group, I have received some pats in the back, a few kicks in the b*tt (that I needed) and lots of constructive advice and support, by Bill and by other members. And I'd have screenshots to prove it, though they're not relevant, after all the ones Bill posted of his conversations with Sylvia herself.

Fact #2: Next, she states - "I bet THEY didn't spend $5000 to be thrown into a FB group.". This is a mere assumption on your side, and discredits your report; how could you know what each of us spent? Yes, I did spend thousands of dollars to get into this coaching group, and also other groups previously, and I can tell you this is the best investment I've made.

Fact #3: Next statement by Sylvia: "He also had some videos for me to watch that "explained" how to do this Internet marketing thing. Of course, they were not designed for a beginner and as it turned out, that was the extent of Bill's "coaching".". As  per my experience, Bill's rebuttal, and even your own report proves, this is not the case. There is constant support by Bill and other members. We will get into that more in depth in some of the coming facts.

  • Fact #3a: The coaching is not a mere "watch some videos and apply them", and content is not provided only by Bill. For instance in one thread, one marketer called Nathan posted: "**** and Sylvia, I released an email marketing course a while back that had a focus on building relationships with your list. If you'd like me to hook you up shoot me a PM.", to which you replied "I am going through Nathan Zadwornys email course right now and just love it! Full of GREAT tips and so well written. Good stuff!!!"  (so, one member offered you his paid course for free as part of our group, just one of many examples of why the coaching, that includes the private group, includes much more than you are implying)

  • Fact #3b: Next, you state: "Then Bill held a webinar for his members and decided to make me the subject of the webinar by outlining a "plan" of action for me to take. LOL!!! What a joke!". A "joke"? Many experienced (and busy) internet marketers attend a group coaching call, and the coach devotes ALL the time of the call to outlining a personal plan for you, and you call that a joke? Do you know how other webinars or group coaching calls work? You may post a question in the chat box and have 2 minutes devoted to you in a webinar, or maybe 10-15 minutes in a group coaching call if you're lucky (and I can tell by experience in previous coachings). She makes it sound like it was a bad thing, but it was a tremendous opportunity, one of these you seldom find in life. I wish I could have a 1h+ webinar with Bill and the rest of the team devoted entirely to me. But again, you said the coaching was only a set of videos and nothing more, and then you say Bill devoted an entire webinar to outlining a plan for you? Quite contradictory, isn't it?

Fact #4: You state that after you posted some questions, "His response basically was that I had a BAD attitude and I was negative and that I had to get my head on straight.  He implied that by asking questions, I was making excuses!!!! Rather than provide the coaching I had paid for, he kind of ridiculed me and of course this was posted in the FB group. So everyone saw I had an "atittude"" This has so much in it we can analyze it in chunks:

  • Fact #4a: You had posted in the group that "First off, I sure hate to burden anyone in the group with this because I don’t know what the hell I am doing. Secondly, let’s say someone is gracious enough to work with me (...)" His reply was that, I quote, "You are currently letting one thought or problem lead into a tornado of negative thoughts", Don't create reason's why you can't.". This is not stating that you have a bad attitude, this is trying to frame you into a positive state of mind, and an pushing you out of your comfort zone, which is exactly what is expected from a good coach when a student faces a mental barrier.

  • Fact #4b: In the same sentence, he said: "Also don't think of yourself as a pain. You have me and the group to help you think of stuff to ask." Do you think he's ridiculing you, or saying you're making excuses by asking questions? His comments prove that he is encouraging you to ask questions, and showing empathy, but move forward and not stop at the obstacles. Again, that's what a coach is there to do.

  • Fact #4c: "Everyone saw you had an attitude"? Well, I responded to your statements with my own opinion, "Sylvia, if I'm allowed to chime in why not turn (from the mindset point of view, as Bill said, and from a practical standpoint) your current lack of experience in some areas into an opportunity?" and I explained it, to which you replied "Hey Mikel - great analogy. YOu are so right!!" Also, two big marketers that are part of the group who have made thousands of sales, named Saul and Declan, offered themselves to be interviewed by you, which you were very thankful for (and can be proven with screenshots). So, if many of us jumped in to help you, do you still think "we all saw you had an attitude" or that "we all saw you were giving your first steps in this world and needed help"? Which is reality and which is your perception?

Fact #5: Also, once again, this proves that this is not a group where we "only pat ourselves in the back", as you said in the beginning of your report, we were supporting you and you had the doors opened to interview two very successful marketers who had offered their help and their time to help you build your first product.

Fact #6: Then you had a plan on how to do interviews around traffic with these two marketers, which Bill validated, then you stated you had some technical questions... and that's the last time I heard of you in the group.

Fact #7: Sylvia states: "So I told him I wanted out and that I was in over my head and that this wasn't what I expected, etc. He begged and pleaded and told me he would NOT let me fail - that HE would run a campaign, a WSO, and MAKE SURE I made $5000.  he made me feel like there was something wrong with ME that I wasn't learning the ropes and I wanted to show him that I DID have a good attitude. Kind of a bully, don't you think?". Yeah, definitely a bully. He offers to create a product himself if you're so stuck that you can't move forward, to release the pressure from you. What an abusive coach! Maybe we should include this definition of a bully in the wikipedia. (sorry about the sarcasm, I couldn't help it in this case).

And, again, this report ends with a summary of all the inaccurate and false information stated before:

  • "Bottom line: No coaching, no guidance, nada, zip.... I essentially paid $5k to join a private FB group with NO help whatsoever. He finally refunded ONLY $4000 telling me he was keeping $1000 for his time and the content I got from his FB site. What a bunch of garbage. What time?? He may have spent a total of 15 minutes with me". As we've seen before, Sylvia herself states that he was the subject of a whole webinar, that lasted more than an hour. Not counting all the messages Bill posted in his images and those he didn't post. So, 15 minutes tops you say? A clearly false claim, even by Sylvia's own words and statements.

  • "There are no lessons and no resources other than the other members "offers" that they are selling to the IM world." Another false claim, as proven by the screenshots posted by Bill.

  • "Again, it is just a bunch of marketers joining each others offers and patting each other on the back. No help for a newbie here!" This is the final and, IMO, the most unfair false claim because it affects not only Bill and his program, but also underestimates the time and resources many of your fellow marketers, that have their own businesses to run, have devoted or were willing to devote to you for free.

All in all, a completely and utterly unsubstantiated claim, filled with subjective information, and false claims that can be easily rebutted by proven facts.

Bill Hugall Coaching Review

AUTHOR: Cyndi Hester - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, November 09, 2015

Okay, everyone has their "opinion" so here is mine.

I also hired Bill Hugall as my personal internet marketing coach last year, and had a "great experience!"

Yep, I paid the big bucks to, but I got called every single week, I could ask anything on FB Message, I was in the Coaching FB Group and the guys their were terrific to me! He always gave me an hour, but sure went longer sometimes and that was cool with him!

Of course we ALL knew the "sales pitch", it is called "marketing", but that was okay with me.

I learned a lot and got nothing but EXACTLY what Bill told me I would.  He walked me through the steps to making my own products, and then he personally checked my work and pages.  We spent plenty of time "on Skype Calls" every single week or anytime I needed him.  He never hesitated to give me his TIME.

I am shocked that someone else had such a bad experience, because that was NOT mine with him at all, so I needed to send a rebuttal to this Ripoff Report I saw with his name.

Love the digital age :)

AUTHOR: Bill Hugall - (Canada)

POSTED: Monday, November 09, 2015

Well,  that was fun :)

I hope you have to objection to me taitning it with actual documented facts?

Now I was going to get into this but instead what I've decided to do was just leave all the facts here for you all and you can make your own decision.

No rant, no crazy back and fourth... just the full deatils of our conversations.

So if you're reading this... it's your call.

Also note that I've kept your identity hidden even though you decide to make slanderous commments and try to ruin a business.

The intitial refund ask and the offer made. (Note the statement about me keeping some)

So there's all that plus five access to me five days a week and as you can tell I'm there for my clients. Now she also had a thread but honestly I don't much feel like making you all images for that and we have a recorded webinar she takes up almost a full hour asking for herself.

Then there was the content issue. Let's address that as well.

Pinned post in the group. This was posted in May as an update but has been there for two years now

The actual members area main page

ANd the final page of the members area.

As you can see not only am I there five days a week and when I'm not I let people know, but I also provide 12 videos and PDF's on top of the five days a week and live webinars once a month. Now the cool part is that anyone who actually applies what I teach makes a significant income. They may or may not chime in below, but end of the day... you will make your own choice as to the type of person I am and the business I run.

I hope this report hasn't soured you as a postential client but if it does... we probs weren't going to be a fit anyways. So thanks for your interest and I wish you all the best of luck :)

Bill
