Bill Schuster Flyer in the mail for "Used Book Finder" $1000 per "used book" Alta Loma California

Hey Rip-Off Report readers,

I saw Lee's first report so I wanted to let people know I also received a direct mail piece.  I'm typically a trusting person, perhaps my downfall, but my inquistive mind after being scammed & dupped numerous times I find myself researching into things to see if they are legitimate, get more information and find out the scams before I buy anything.

I must say the direct mail piece is good.  Not only is the "Used Book Finder" gig on their but also other offers, calling a 1-800 number with 3 of the digits missing, a penny testing kit, and the money monster site.  All on 1 piece.

After watching the video online, it was interesting that the people in the video are receiving similar amounts as to what is being asked for in the direct mail piece.  It would be fine if it was legitimate but they never showed once how they fulfill customer orders and send what is requested by their customers, just all the cash & money orders they are receiving.

Also, after seeing that others sent money for the "Used Book" deal and never got what was promised and were tricked into some publishing thing, it makes the other offers on the same piece look bad.

Anyways, I had a hard time finding very many reviews of the other offers or really any more information at all regarding the other deals, without risking the money.  However if the same person with the same address didn't honor previous offers that were sent out, it's unlikely this person would honor his/her current offers.

I also did a little digging on moneygram & western union's websites and it turns out getting a refund for a money order can take up to 8 weeks and that is if the money order hasn't been cashed yet.  As difficult as it seems to be, it's not a wonder why people wouldn't bother to fight just to get a few hundred bucks back.
