I have purchased my last three cars at billion auto here in Sioux Falls, SD and it will be my last. My wife and I visited the dealership they were having a big sale like any other day and test drove a bunch of cars didn't like any of them when driving back we saw one we liked drove it and thought it was what we were looking for. It was very similar to another one at a different dealership just less features for the same price so we told them what kind of deal can we get they wouldn't go down in price but they said they have a $500 gas cards left they will give us. We thought fine lets do it so we get the deal over with but he, and this is the used car manager, didn't have any on him but he'll get it. So we wait a week or two and after having to hound him for this gas card he told me to come in and get it so I did. It wasn't a gas card it was a mail in offer where you spend $100 a month in gas at a certain station you get a $25 gas card sent to you after you mail in your receipts. I was not happy with it but I thought it was part of the deal whatever.
After 4 months of submitting receipts and not getting anything we had a envelope returned to us with our reciepts a return to sender. I was suspicious so I google the info on the voucher and come to find out this company is out of business. I contact billion and they go we can't do anything about it but I told them it was part of the deal I wouldn't have bought it there if it wasn't for what the sales man offered. Billion said this gas card is not to get car deals but to get people in to test drive but they will find out what happend. So after having to hound them they say there is nothing they can do and it was the sales managers mistake he should have never offered it. I said why should I have to pay for his mistake then they go well he didn't sell a car from his lot you need to talk to this other manager.
After trying to call both managers and leaving them messages this guy I've been talking to called me back do to the managers don't want to fix their mistakes. This guy said he would give me a less than half the value of the voucher in cash but that wasn't part of the deal $500 in gas or they can cut me a check for $500 so I refused their offer. I am submitting a letter to the Better Business Bureau and the states attorney I'll also post messages on popular forums that people read from this area. So all I have to learn from this is you get treated better by going to a smaller dealership stay away from billion automotive I won't do business there again and will tell anyone looking at cars that they don't care about their customers and ignore them once the deal is finalized. Right now for me it's worth taking one deal away from billion than the $500 in gas they owe me. I also found out that some companies that did use this gas voucher as promos that ended up making it up to the customer in full the management from billion can learn a lot from them.

I bought a car from Watertown Billion and I am surprisingly happy with my Malibu. The salesman said I could get free car washes if I bought the car. I made sure it was written on the bill of sales. I guess I could go in every day, every week, whenever and ask for a free car wash, but I have been getting one every time I get the oil changed (I drive 2000 miles a month), they even pick up the car, change the oil, wash the car, clean the floor mats, return the car, leaving a bill on the seat trusting me to get the bill paid in a timely manner...wow, I'm impressed. No one I've ever bought a car from has ever done all that for me, I am impressed with Watertown Billion, good job people!!
