Do YOU really want to hire Billy Damota, Billy Damota Casting or castboy.com for your project? WE URGE EXTREME CAUTION. We allege the following:
1) Billy Damota is simply put.... a LOSER.
2) Rumor has it Billy had some run ins with drugs in his past.
3) Billy hasn't EVER cast anything "significant". NOTHING BUT LOW BUDGET CRAP IN OUR OPINION. How can he when it appears he spends most of his time bashing companies on line and creating problem after problem in the entertainment business.
4) Billy HIMSELF allegedly use to work at the pre paid casting workshops that he now attacks on a daily basis.
5) Billy Damota pursued acting............. didn't work.......... NOT SURPRISED. ARE YOU?
BEFORE you decide to hire Billy Damota, please do some thorough research on this guy. He's got a long list of Billy Damota haters.
If anyone knows of ANY top drawer projects EVER cast by Billy Damota please enlighten us. Damota, himself, will most likely reply with one of his many alias's he goes by on line.

We run a successful production company here in Los Angeles. I saw this post and had to respond.
We have hired Billy Damota's office a few times over the past few years. Well, it was not at all pleasant. Our company will no longer use him.
On both occasions, we had paid his office within the billing terms. Well, it turns out that he held on to the money for over 6 months before paying the different agencies.
The agencies(and actors) starting calling our office and complaining. I remember our receptionist saying... "another Damota call" a few times.
I notice, which we never knew, he does seem to put down companies on line. Well, he's also not a great business person to deal with.
We had a disagreement with one of the jobs we hired him to cast. It was over money. He got so nasty and was threatning the owners that he would sue them and black ball them in the industry. Sorry, this guy is a creep and, yes, he does cast low pay low budjet jobs. Our higher paying jobs always went to more reputable more experienced casting people.
Our company has stopped using him and so should you.
I not trying to start any trouble here, just exposing a complete HYPOCRITE.
