LIES, LIES LIES!  For three years I've been waiting for Binder & Binder to represent my SSD case. In July 2009 I was finally told that they could not handle my case because of "technicalities".  I went to social services, signed up for DCAP and got my SSD within three months, and for FREE! I highly recommend contacting your local DCAP office or the Department of Health and Human Services if you want REAL results.

I had the same problem with Binder & Binder in New York and New Jersey. My nightmare lasted almost four years with them until I fired them in December 2008.

They botched paperwork, filled out paperwork on my behalf with the wrong information, I had to change case workers at least four times.

I was supposed to have a "real lawyer" for my hearing. Promised two to three times I would have an 'attorney'. Instead, they gave me a useless, pathetic, lying ss advocate who reviewed my file just minutes before the hearing.

I caught one of their reps in a lie . . . she said/she said until I said, "I kept the message you left, would you like to hear it?" This rep went into a three minute stutter after told her that.

I received medical records that weren't mine. I demanded they find out where my records were sent since I received someone else's but never received a response. 'Someone' will get back to me.'

It wasn't until I received a disc from SS that I found out what my disability was . . . high blood pressure?!?!? After reviewing all the information B&B (just paper shufflers) submitted and what SS had written I was dumbfounded. Binder & Binder are useless. They don't read. They don't care. They just want your money.

I kept a record of every phone conversation (dates, times, subject). I have a new lawyer now. If I ever win my case and Binder & Binder want part of my money, they will be in for a fight of their life. Not a penny will go to them.

Binder & Binder is a joke. They should be shut down. Their commercials are a complete lie. They make matters worse for you . . . not easier. If anyone hires them, after waiting two to four years dealing with them you'll have an additional disability to deal with.

Did I mention that my local SSI office told me to send them all the letters sent to me by Bend-Um and Bend-Um (My lil nick name for them) because they had so many complaints about them that they had started an investigation which could lead to Binder and Binder losing their ability to handle Disability cases in WI.
