BioTab ,Alteril, BioTab Nutriceuticals Inc will take your money!!! Monrovia, California

On April 11, 2008 we called & ordered the samples of the sleep medication Alteril. On April 16, 2008 we had to leave for Calif. on a family injury emergency. We did not return back home to AZ till April 26, 2008.

Our mail had been put on hold while we were gone...so the Alteril med was in with our mail when we went to the P.O. on Apr. 28th to get it. We kept the small sample pkg but ask the teller if we could return the larger pkg. She said yes we could w/o any postage requred on our part...the pkg had not been opened of course. She gave us a receipt for the pkg to be ret'd to the Biotab company.

Our credit card was charged for the postage on the small sample pkg for .97 cents, which on the postage receipt of the container it was only .68 cents. Then we also found a charge (not authorized by us) that was on our same charge card in the amount of around $36.90. This includes a $6.95 charge for shipping. (The postage amt on that pkg showed $1.83). That goes to show you how much even the postage is a ripoff from them.

Our credit card should have never been charged with this amount because we only ordered the sample to see if it would help with sleep, then if it did work, we would have considered the ordering a full supply.

We have made numerous phone calls to this company and always get the run around...one person says yes they got our pkg back & we'd be getting our refund, then just yesterday, May 19th, the lady tells us that no they've not rec'd the pkg as yet. Today, a man named Eric or Rick says it takes 4-6 wks to get a refund. These companies should never be allowed to add more or send more than what you ordered.... thats just not right. We're on a fixed income & can't have extra purches coming out of our acct. that we don't plan for... someone needs to put a stop to such business as these people.

We're going to tell everyone we know not to order from this place & from now on, we're never going to order samples like this & use a credit card. No one, not even a company should take the right to add to someone else's credit card. I hope someone will put a stop to this company before they keep doing this to others & we're really hoping to get our money back from them.
