ok, they say that they would contact at max one business day to email, but I have sent request using all the ways, internet form and email. With no answer. I did make a request about half years ago to get a password to account which has been created with facebook sign in, and when signed in with facebook: one cannot change password or get a password, nor make it even 2fa...

I copy my email to them:

Subject:
I have 1100 euros stuck as bitcoin in your wallet

Message:
because I had signed in, when first time I used your service, with
facebook, and as you very well know password can't be changed when
logged in with facebook. I asked to give me a password about half year
ago because I have card to that account, made with facebook login. I
forgot that, and I did put 1100€ worth of bitcoins when I thought it
would work. So please give me my btc-wallet password, for I can't have
it for your sign up didn't do one. You can't imagine that you can run
business like that, if you want it to be legal, or how we say
non-criminal

and another one:

See you just can’t give for your clients a bitcoin address without never giving the password to it, what if somebody forgets that, like I did?? Then it’s called a scam:

Scam or rip-off?

For something to be considered an offence under the Fraud Act, the perpetrator must intend to steal from their victim or have intent to perpetrate a fraud.

For example, if you pay for a service that doesn't exist because the provider is running a fake company, this is a scam and is definitely considered to be fraudulent activity.

 sincerely yours

Dear PP,

We are sorry to hear about your negative experience. Let us explain the situaition. Our wallets are built in a way that we don't store your password nor can we access its contents. This is done to ensure maximum privacy and security of your funds and prevent unauthorised access by intruders. In the moment of your wallet's creation you are asked to download your back up phrase as again even we can't access. At the moment you can switch on Facebook's 2fa when signing up with your account and we plan to implement it on our accounts in the future as well.

We apologise for not respondiing to you within our promised 1 business day however in the last weeks we have experienced unprecedednted growth and our team is trying very hard to reply to all complaints.

We would like to make it up for you. Please email our team on support@bitwala.com and we would do our best to solve your issue should you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

The Bitwala Team
