I used BizFilings to handle incorporating my business. In the sign up process, you are not given a choice of Registered Agent. BizFilings requires you to accept their registered agent services for "six months free." They claim they do it to ensure a smooth filing process.
BizFilings doesn't tell you that after the six months of "free" registered agent service, you will either have to start paying them or pay the state where you incorporated to file a change of registered agent. BizFilings will also try to sell you a change of agent filing service for $95 plus the state fees!
This experience has made me feel like I don't know what other little scams they might be hiding in their "services." I won't be finding out. I have severed my relationship with BizFilings.
