 Do not rent from BJB Properties 25 E Delaware Place Chicago IL... It is horribly managed ! The building is filthy, amenities such as laundry room do not work properly. Plan to hang your towels to dry in your apartment Bc the dryers never work. The laundry room has large cockroaches in it. The basement is a unsafe place where the laundry room and gym is. I was confronted by a drunk man at 7am while working out. There are always power outages and the hallways are pitch dark and even when there aren't power outages the elevators break down all the time. Homeless men hangout in the lobby Bc the front door is always left open. The trash rooms are filled with garbage and flies Bc they get emptied only every few days. The Assistant Property Manager John Bremner is unprofessional and will not answer emails for days or answer the phone in the office when he is sitting right in front of it. We had a attempted break in to our apartment by a drugged out man and the man was arrested. Police told us he lived below us. We reported it to the Assistant Property Manager John Bremner and it took him days to respond and then his Supervisor Mike Hochhauser stated they don't respond to 911 calls. I didn't want them to respond I wanted to report the incident and find out did this crazy person really live below me. Any issue you have wth the building they do not take care of. Dangerous unsafe building, horribly managed !
