Black Expressions Book Club  has been taking part in some very shady and calculating transactions for the past couple of months which have left my funds depleted, caused a lot of stress and has harmed my credit score. I've contacted them directly on multiple occasions and their behavior has typically been unapologetic, unprofessional and unyielding.

The first time I was charged and tried to dispute the charge their website was down on the first of the month through to the last date where you could deny having to make a payment. The second time I had been steadily denying the books, but they still mailed them at a random month. I emailed them and asked why they've mailed these books and charged my account, and they said that it was because they did not receive my rejection of their services and that I had entered into a "contract" which is not listed in their terms of service at the foot of their page.

In an attempt to somewhat make up for their misunderstanding they claimed that I could ship the books back and receive my money in full. When I told them I received no such books I did not get a response. Then a while later I received the books that I was charged for in the mail, and postage was not paid for me to return them. On top of this, they still refused to release me from this invisible "contract".

I've spoken to my bank online and they've told me there is nothing they can do. However, I've been advised to go to the bank in person and I plan to report. What I need most of all, is to know how I could go about getting my money back (in full) and having this "contract" cancelled. I'd be willing to work out an agreement with them if they clear me on their report and cancel my contract.

So far I've gotten the information about them from here

However, due to the large number of claims against them they are slow to responding. For some, they never complain, but for me...this is something I do not normally do and I'm rather annoyed that I have to. If anyone has any helpful tips on how to dissolve this "invisible" contract, please do contact me.
