On April 13, 2005 my husband and I ordered two pizza's from BlackJack Pizza (our favorite). When we recieved the order it was incorrect, my husband can only eat thin crust, we called to let BlackJack know that our order was wrong. I was put on with a gentleman "manager" who asked if I wanted a pizza sent out or a credit for a free pizza next time I ordered. It was too late in the evening to wait for another pizza, so I chose the credit.

When I called to order pizza the next time (May 11, 2005) I was told that I used the credit on April 13th, I told the sales person that was the day that the credit was issued to me. She put me on hold, came back and asked if I knew the name of the person who issued the credit? Yeah because I have nothing better to do in life then memorize the name of a manager at the local pizza place right? I told her that I didn't know who it was but it was a male manager, she said no name, no pizza. I got the name of the general manager.

I called the next day to talk to Roxanne the general manager about this, not because I am poor and need a free pizza, it is the moral of the thing! When I talked to her she also asked for the name, when I told her that I didn't know who I talked to she started to treat me like I was making the whole thing up, "we ALWAYS give a name so that you know who you talked to" I told her "look I have a kids and a husband, I have too much on my mind to remember little things like that" she said "well we also put your name in a book so that we know if you have a credit, your name is not in there so if you can not tell me who you talked to I cannot help you." She was very rude and was talking to me like a child! In the end she told me that I could have a discount if I ordered right then (keep in mind I called at 10:00 in the morning). Look all I want is my stupid free pizza! All too often I have ordered from this particular BlackJack and gotten a messed up pizza, I only order there because of the taste of the sauce and the price. Rest assured if you are the owner and you are reading this, this is not the only way that I am trying to affect your business. I have told my whole church group of your rude mannered workers and false promises, and my friends and family.

Why are you writing to me like you think you know my whole story

AUTHOR: Sarah - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 23, 2005

I guess I failed to mention that I am a foster mom and that I have a child of my own and with that many kids I do not have time to write down someones name. I am a trusting person and I have done this time and time again with these people and I always get my free pizza with no hassle. I only wrote the report so that other people will make sure that they write down the info so that they do not get ripped off!

All I want is the correct pizza. You ask why I did not order right away since it was free, the answer is my family and I try not to eat "fast food" more than once a month, that way it is like a treat for the kids. Thanks for being so rude when you don't even know what I am about or why I put this on here in the first place. You don't even live in Colorado, this would never affect you.

Maybe You Should Get A Pizza

How can you possibly be mad at them for trying to verify that you have the free pizza coming? They obviously have a practice of both writing it down and giving the customer their name so that they have a way to verify in case something like this happens.

It sounds like you don'r want to accept the fact that because you can't grab a pencil and write down a name that is the pizza place's problem.

If tthey gave away a pizza to everyone like you who "SAYS" they have a free pizza cominf then the whole town could ask for one and I guess they would be out of business anyway.

Accept your part of the problem because of your laziness. And why wait almost a month when you are getting something for free?
